Name: Ookai’s Back Story appearances: Antrodus Series Size: 900 meters X 245 meters total area above the surface Description: Ookai is a massive pliosaur-based beast, easily one of the most massive beasts of all time. A monster among monsters, Ookai often spends time up at the surface, and monsters occasionally fight on his back, sometimes without knowing it’s another beast. Ookai has thick, rubbery skin like a whale, and other than a few barnacles is very smooth and slippery. Hazards and Notable Landmarks: Not really any notable landmarks, since Ookai lacks any sort of spines or such. Hazards are also few and far between, mostly consisting of falling off of the massive monster’s wet hide. However, even though most glancing melee attacks won’t cut his immense hide, a direct beam will piss off the giant, causing him to roll, dive, or, if he can reach, bite. Fighting on Ookai’s head pisses him off, with falling into his huge nostrils a genuine threat (sure, they’ld get sneezed out, but still, not a desirable situation for anyone), and god forbid anything steps on his eye. The complete lack of cover and sensitivity of the arena itself encourages direct melee combat, and providing a real disadvantage to hit and run tactics, beam-spammers, and you can FORGET about burrowing.

Name: Komara Nesting Ground Story appearances: Antrodus Series Size: A couple square miles Description: Out in the American midwest, there’s a long, narrow canyon with steep cliffs, a small river, and dozens of large caves at various heights along the walls. Pack after pack of the pesky Komara came into the canyon and nested there, using the caves as shelter and the rocks' warmth to incubate their eggs. Year after year, the area saw more of the Syntarsus mutants coming, until the area formed it’s own separate sub-species, isolated from the rest. There are five large communal nests, each surrounded by up to a dozen smaller nests. Hazards and Notable Landmarks: The caves, while large by human standards, are pretty small to kaiju, with Komara packs tucking into them very tightly to rest. Mostly nocturnal, disturbing the caves during the day will startle and irritate the scavenging critters, and they’ll come out to attack what they feel is a threat to their young. The river isn’t very deep, so aquatic kaiju won’t be able to swim in it. Stepping on or otherwise screwing up the nests themselves will result in Komara pouring out of the cliffs in defense. But, being even weaker than the common breed of Komara, they’re really just annoying. Also, the entire area is nearly coated in their shit, especially around the nests and the river bank, making the whole place comically slippery. As for what a Komara looks like (they range from 13 to 16 meters tall):

Oooh, now there's something you don't see every day...
I second the approval for Ookai, and give my approval for the Komara nesting grounds.

Name: Stampede! Story appearances: Antrodus Series Size: A few square miles Description: Out on a distant island, a herd of Mostrodon settled for a bit to feast on the rich plant life. Unfortunately, something, whether it was a predator or natural disaster, spooked the herd of Tenontosaur mutants, and, unluckily, there’s a nasty storm, making the waters too rough for them to swim away. Now, scared shitless, the entire herd (more or less staying together), is stampeding over the entire island, crushing everything in their path! Hazards and Notable Landmarks: A very simple area, almost all of the island is dense vegetation, but most of it’s only about shin high on an average monster. Nonetheless, it can impede movement somewhat. The ocean around the island is incredibly violent due to the freakish storm, making it dangerous for anything without gills. The mountain range nearby is average, and could provide both refuge from the herd and a Mufassa style death for any beast smart enough to exploit it. The herd itself is composed of the very powerful Mostrodon, and while they will most certainly trample anything in front of them, they won’t go out of they’re way to harm fighters. Flight is pretty much impossible given the dramatic weather. As for a Mostrodon, they’re about 50 meters tall on all fours. (It's a male, females lack the neck spines and wattles, but it doesn't really matter for this)

30 meters. Waist high on your average monster, basically.

Alright, sounds good considering nearly all of their mass is their length. Kinda pictured them as kaiju-cattle, ya' know?

Name: Aviary Story appearances: Antrodus Series Size: A few square miles
Description: Formerly a first class zoo’s main attraction, the fantastic array of birds were tainted by the mutagenic properties of LockJaw’s blood after scavenging birds fed on portions of the giant after a particularly brutal fight. The smaller scavengers entered the aviary, infected the resident population of birds, and stayed. LockJaw’s blood made the birds grow, the largest being about 25 meters tall. The blood either broke down some of their natural aggression towards each other or made their social instincts stronger. Either way, the entire aviary is united as one large, multi-species flock, with everything from toucans to ospreys, crows to macaws. They stuck around the zoo though, devouring all of the other inhabitants. They are very intelligent, especially the crows and parrots, and will favor one side over another, especially if there’s something birdy looking on that side. The area itself is littered with the debris of the cages and fences, with some small rides left.
Hazards and Notable Landmarks: The area itself is pretty plain, moderate hilly terrain, a couple tanks for the aquatic exhibits, and debris from the former attractions and rides. Portions of the area are coated in bird shit, making the area, as with the Komara nesting grounds, comically slippery. The birds themselves can’t really harm most kaiju (though they usually go for the eyes), but they can easily put a stop to a fight by flapping, cawing, and pecking all over the place. Many of them will drop rocks, debris, and shit randomly on the fighters for shits and giggles. Most of the birds are about ten meters tall, but the larger parrots and raptors can reach 25 meters, with the largest member of the flock being a female Harpy Eagle. The birds, for the most part, hang back abit in the sky, and mostly fly in to screw around with the fight and shift the tide. They’re assholes like that. They've also retained their attraction to shiny objects, and will peck at mechs out of curiosity, and sometimes even try to carry it off for whatever birds do with shiny objects.

Hmmm.... bit tentative about kaiju-sized birds, but if they don't actively try to hurt the fighters.... I suppose it could work. It's just that even at an eighth the average size, that flock COULD bring down both monsters if it felt like it. Maybe shrink them just a smidge?

Name: Valley on the Ring Of Death Story appearances: Antrodus Series Size: Several square miles Description: On a massive artificial Ring World, multiple alien races gathered some of the toughest, biggest, and meanest life in the galaxy and just tossed ‘em on the planet to duke it out. Over time, each of the species evolved larger and stronger to compete. Meanwhile, the aliens sent in some machines with various cameras to observe the combat. Of course, the robots can’t afford to be pushovers either, and many of them can go toe to toe with the monsters themselves. This particular valley is a highly prized arena, containing terrain from most of the major life supporting planets. Most of them are reasonably earth-like, but in certain areas the terrain itself seems alive, like a bizarre fungus which sporadically raises in freakish plant-like organisms. The cliffs effectively pen in the combatants, with the river flowing in and out being too narrow at those points, while it can easily give aquatic beasts an edge. Hazards and Notable Landmarks: The flora and fauna are all very aggressive and defensive, and at best they’ll only attack things near them and at worst, anything they see. Populated with giant elephants, theropods, birds, snakes, and numerous alien species. While most of the monsters aren’t large enough to pose any threat to genuine kaiju, the elephants are very dangerous. With both males and females constantly in Must, they’re freakishly aggressive, and the smallest are fifty feet tall, with the largest pushing 75. Several of the plants are dangerous, lashing out with vines, harpoon-esque tentacles, and large (50 feet across) subterranean mouths. However, the largest beast is the resident top predator, Sudraktor, who does not appreciate guests. Fortunately for the fighter’s, his flesh is soft, squishy, and easy to tear or crush, having a similar consistency to mold and other fungi. Here’s Sudraktor :

'Bout 50 meters tall, little in the way of bone/muscle/brain structure, no real special abilities or strengths, just an overall annoyance.
