It should be noted that the arm spears and nasal horn are wider and thicker, while the tail blade differs slightly, as the second blade resembles a Xenomorph's tail-blade.
Origin Story:
Chimeragon is an alien organism of unknown origins who crash landed in the waters off the coast of Austrailia in 2036. He has been hibernating down there for some period of time and any attempts to make contact with or engage the beast have met with no response, making it appear to be largely docile.
Personality:
Chimeragon is a curious and intelligent monster and is usually more interested in exploring the environments he finds himself in than fighting. When provoked, his first act is usually a bluff tactic or just simply to flee and fire "warning" shots to ward off further agression. However, if forced into conflict, his demenor largely changes, and he becomes focused intently on ending the fight as quickly as possible, using his echolocation and ESP to target weak points on enemy monsters and put them down fast.
Special Abilities:
Offensive Abilities
1. Psy-Blade- A blade of manifest psionic energy formed around his nasal horn a-la Destroyah. However, it lacks the energized properties of the aforementioned weapon and instead acts as a plane of force, albeit with excellent cutting power.
2. Electroshocker- Chimeragon can fire bolts of electricity from his tusks. These are of moderate strength and range.
3. Melee Weapons- Chimeragon's arm spears and tail blade are powerful weaponry in their own right and are quite strong, allowing him to use them as parrying tools. Additionally, he can bite with hsi beak or gouge foes with his tusks.
4. Sonic Blast- Chimeragon can alter his echolocation ability and create a short-ranged burst of sonic waves. While not particularly damaging, it stuns most opponents, leaving them open to a counter-attack.
5. Stone Mist- Chimeragon's most potent ability. The organ on his chest opens and spews forth a kind of calcium-carbonate mist, which quickly engulfs an enemy and begins to harden, turning into a tough, rocky shell that restricts their movement before totally "paralyzing" them. Only monsters with exceptional strength or a pulse attack can easily break out of this. However, the shell creates a great deal of pressure on the atmosphere around the enemy and will break under it's own stress eventually, leaving most monsters severely crushed and gasping for air, but alive.
Defensive Abilities
1. Flight- Chimeragon is capable of Mach 3 flight in atmosphere with decent mobility.
2. Triphibian- Chimeragon is equally at home on land, in the air, under the sea, or even in space. Thus, he does not need to breath and is unaffected by extreme cold.
3. ESP and SONAR- Chimeragon has a kind of ESP ability, in which is always aware of his immediate surroundings and can track brain-wave emmanations from enemy monsters. Additionally, because he lacks eyes, he uses SONAR to find his way around an environment. He also has extraordinary hearing.
Also, because he does not see in the traditional sense, he is immune to sight based illusory abilities.
Combat style:
Chimeragon prefers to avoid conflict and will often attempt to flee the area rather than engage. If pursued, however, he uses hsi ESP and echolocation abilities to locate weak points in the enemy's armor and strike there, hopefully ending the fight fast. If things are really bad, he will try to flee once again.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
Chimeragon is a decent enough all-around fighter. However, his single projectile weapon is only of moderate strength and downright useless against some foes, and the rest of his attacks requires close range to be of any use.
He is weak against sonic based attacks, as the sound interferrence screws with his echolocation. Additionally, kaiju that attack while in a super-sonic state, such as Megaguirus, have a partial advantage as he cannot hear them coming. His ESP abilities are useless against machines and creature's without true brains, and are largely useless against animals that rely on instinct to fight.
Finally, if the organ on his chest is damaged while open, the Stone Mist will backfire on its owner.
Sample Fight:
Chimeragon vs King Seesar (GFW)
Chimeragon enjoyed the waters of Sydney, ignroing the military vehicles above him. They seemed to be ingnoring him, for which he was grateful. However, there was an awful lot of commotion on the surface, and the currently seaborn alien slowly rose to investigate. The ships above him thundered as they offloaded on something on shore. The alien broke the surface and took a proverbial look around.
A large bipedal monster was busy tearing the city apart, while ships shelled the hell out of it, all to no avail. King Seesar roared at the enemy ships, when he noticed Chimeragon in the waves. He wrenched a building loose from the ground, the crumbling structure forming a makeshift projectile, as he lobbed the weapon at the alien monster. Chimeragon shrieked as he dove back beneath the waves, the building splashing down around him. But Seesar was not to be halted. He advanced into the water, pursuing his perceived enemy, ready to take him on. This was his first mistake.
Chimeragon surfaced again, just in time to meet a right hook from the Xillian kaiju. While his ESP came in handy, it wasn't perfect all the time. He staggered some from the blow as Seesar pressed the assault. But this time, the alien was prepared. As Seesar launched another punch, Chimergon batted his arm aside with one of his arm spears before releasing a blast of sonic waves from his maw. Seesar reeled as his eardrums throbbed, the blast deafening him for a moment. Chimeragon took the opportunity to defend himself by jamming the other spear into Seesar's gut. The scaly armor of the beast made for a formidable defense, but one that the chimera was able to overcome.
Blood ran from the wound as Seesar howled in agony. He attempted to wrench the weapon free, when Chimeragon reached out and grabbed his face, tearing the weapon out himself before slamming Seesar face-down into the water. The monster kicked and thrashed, managing to land a solid blow to Chimeragon's face with a flailing kick.
Chimeragon shrieked and released his catch, retreating into the city and hoping that Seesar would have the brains not to follow. But being mind-controlled was a problem, as Seesar erupted from the depths, clutching his stomach before charging after Chimeragon. The alien heard his approach and whipped around, bringing his tail blade into play as it lashed across Seesar's chest. But even as the wound bled, Seesar continued, punching and kicking with savage ferocity. Chimeragon blocked as best he could, when a well placed roundhouse kick sent him staggering backwards, clutching his own chest. Seesar roared in triumph, but quickly changed his tune when electrical arcs crackled along Chimeragon's tusks before discharging at the Xillian kaiju.
Seesar rorared as the electricity discharged into his body, searing his already wounded flesh. Scorch marks indicated the weapon strikes, but Chimeragon couldn't see that. He could only sense the pain of his foe, which gave him a lock on his position as he counter-attacked. Seesar's every move could be well predicted for the most part. He could hear everything. Seesar buckled under the assault as another spear lanced into his side while the other struck his shoulder. Chimeragon hoisted his struggling catch and slammed him sideways into the ruins of a nearby structure, toppling what was left onto the beast.
Seesar, though, was far from out, as he burst from the rubble, bleeding from numerous stab wounds, but still fighting on at the bidding of his masters. Chimeragon was about ready to leave the confrontation, when he sensed Seesar's return, but was too late to stop a pwerful kick to his back that proppelled him into a nearby building. The streets of Sydney were littered with rubble and blood, and Chimeragon wasn't about to let his blood be spilled in any appreciable amount. As Seesar roared his challenge, Chimeragon turned to face his foe one last time. He set his spears to ward off a charge, but that didn't stop Seesar.
The Xillian kaiju ran and jumped, right at Chimeragon's face. The alien shrieked as the airr around his nasal horn seemed to warp and shimmer, and Seesar soon found out why as he impaled himself on the blade of psionic energy. Chimergon dropped under the weight of the enemy kaiju landing on his head, but Seesar took the brunt of the blow, as the blade sliced through his body. Chimeragon shoved Seesar off of him, but even bloody and battered as he was, Seesar was denied the privelege of giving up. He was forced into battle again, in what would prove to be his last effort.
Chimeragon roared in frustration as the organ on his chest opened, spraying a greyish white mist everywhere. Seesar hacked and coughed, but tried to press on, when he felt his joints stiffening around him. He looked on in horror as a stony shell crept across his body, seeping into his wounds and covering his entire body. Soon, a stony image of Seesar stood before Chimeragon. The Xillian kaiju was still alive, but suffocating under the crushing pressure of the rocky shell, and that was good enough for him. He took to the skies, seeking somewhere less stressful to be.
