Name: Neo-Gaitox
Story appearances: Kreaturez: Comic Series
Height: 65 meters
Weight: 45,000 tons
Origin Story:
Wally cursed his horrible luck. He had fought through FFKT ’07 all the way to the final round, but had lost. Lost! Oh, the ignominy! Oh, the shame! He missed the amazing power he had wielded, craved the sweet taste of victory and domination. He was furious at having it taken away from him, and now he wanted revenge.
He would beat them at their own game, Wally decided. He would create his own monster for the next FFKT! One so amazing, so powerful, so extravagant, so creative, that it would put all the others to shame! People wouldn’t even need to read its bio, it’d be so impressive. They’d vote for it on sheer instinct alone! It wouldn’t even need a partner! Wally knew he had what it would take to create such a beast. He had more creativity in the tip of his tailblade than the rest of the FFKT combined and multiplied tenfold!
So he stole Gaitox, Zorgeksa’s opponent from “Zorgeksa on Mutant Island”, amped up its capabilities to a ridiculous degree and gave it a new name. Wally was very proud of himself.
The FFKT staff, however, was not nearly as impressed by the gratuitously overpowered cyborg space platox. After being rejected three times in a row, Wally finally conceded and asked Ben, fellow Wyldcard team member, to help him whittle it down to something acceptable by the FFKT standards.
Personality: Neo-Gaitox is ruthless and utterly EEEEEEVIL, because evil is awesome and good is dumb. He eats babies, kicks puppies and smashes hospitals and preschools for lulz. This monster is one badass mofo. He’s also totally cool and confident in his abilities, because… well, he’s freaking Neo-Gaitox, man!
Special Abilities: Neo-Gaitox is armed with many a devastating melee weapon; meat hooks for hands, a buzz-saw on his belly, a tail blade and a series of foreword-swept spikes on his back. They are constructed of a nearly indestructible alloy called Hyper-peircemonium-compound-X and can charge with glowing energy, allowing him to cut throughliterally anything practically anything (you’re stifling my creativity!) the flesh of most kaiju like a hot knife through butter.
In addition, he is covered with wide, rectangular, overlapping scales with reflective properties, whichcan no-sell any attack can no-sell *almost* any attack (oh, come on! Concede to me this, at least?) grant him exceptional durability and allow him to deflect beam attacks back to their source.
Though designed primarily for close combat, his firepower is exceptional. Neo-Gaitox can fire a crimson-hued Eyebeam from his cyclopsian eye thathas a maximum range of 800 kilometres and a blast radius of ten miles, enabling him to kill any monster with a single shot …has a range of 80 kilometres and a blast radius of five miles, allowing it to kill *most* monsters with a single shot? (oh, piss off, you stuffy elitists! You’re no fun!) has a maximum range of 8 kilometres, with exceptional piercing strength and a high rate of fire.
Finally, Neo-Gaitox has jets in his feet that he uses to fly from planet to planet to spread his rampage of death and destruction. He canfly at ten times the speed of sound and has perfect manoeuvrability, and is untouchable in air combat (This is getting tiresome!) fly at mach 3 within the earth’s atmosphere.
Combat style: Neo-Gaitoxis a tactical genius, able to outsmart and outfight any monster that comes his way is a competent fighter, but a somewhat arrogant one and a bit of a show-boater. He prefers to engage his opponents in melee combat, but will fall back and fight at a distance when the situation calls for it. He’ll help out his allies, but only begrudgingly, as he prefers to hog the glory for himself.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Neo-Gaitoxhas no exploitable weaknesses, excelling in every aspect of combat and capable of operating in any environment is great at offence and defence. However, as a giant cyborg mutant Platox, he is a slow runner and not very agile; he is meant to withstand attacks rather than avoid them. In addition, he is a poor swimmer, and sinks like a rock due to his dense body and stubby limbs; salt water will also short out his circuitry.
Sample Fight:
These puny beings would be no match, Neo-Gaitox chuckled. Despite their obvious inferiority, the Gimantises attacked anyway, swooping in at high speed. Gaitox tagged one with his eyebeam, blowing it up easily and sending chunks of bug flesh flying. He ducked to avoid a swoop from another, swinging his tailblade up and chopping it in two lengthwise as it passed overhead. The third darted towards him and was met by his meat hooks, which swiped in rapid succession and cut it up into six separate chunks before it even hit the ground.
Too easy!
Rainbow Mothra came in next, spamming beams from its wings and antennae. Theybounced right back to their source multiplied in strength several times, ripping the Moth apart and ending the fight before it started cascaded harmlessly off Neo-Gaitox’s armour as if they were raindrops, and the cyborg space platox laughed at Mothra’s futile attempts to defeat him. Neo-Gaitox returned fire with his eyebeam, the first of which was deflected by Mothra’s energy shield. No matter; he fired it again and again in rapid succession until it pierced the shield and set the bug ablaze. Mothra shrieked as the flames spread across its body, and swooped at its opponent in a last-ditch effort to kamikaze the cyborg. Neo Gaitox stood there and let Mothra crash into him, exploding in a brilliant ball of fire. Neo-Gaitox emerged from the epicentre of the blast completely unscathed. would have none of that and finished it off with another eyebeam, cutting off its wing and laughing eeeeeevilly as it crashed helplessly to the ground.
Another easy win.
From nowhere came Dagahra, crashing into Neo-Gaitox from the air at high speed andinflicting no damage at all. Neo-Gaitox laughed at the pathetic weakling and dispatched him effortlessly with a single blinding swipe of his tailblade. sending him flying. Neo-Gaitox faceplanted some 80 meters away, and struggled to rise to his feet and meet his assailant. Dagahra landed, roared and waddled towards Neo-Gaitox, firing his energy ray from his mouth. It bounced off Neo-Gaitox’s armour and was sent right back multiplied several times beyond its original strength, destroying him with a single blast, carving into the triphibian’s body and wounding him. As Dagahra staggered in pain, Neo-Gaitox lumbered up and began to hack away with his meat hooks, ripping into his opponent. Dagahra took to the air, attempting to retreat, but Neo-Gaitox took to the air in pursuit.
Gaitox swiftly caught up to the beast, slashing him with the buzzsaw on his belly as he passed. Dagahra roared in pain and began to fall. But before he died, he clamped onto Neo-Gaitox’s tail with his jaws. They began to free-fall together, and Neo-Gaitox’s single eye widened in horror as he realised where they were falling…
The two monsters plunged into the ocean and sank into the depths together; Dagahra dead and Neo-Gaitox’s circuitry beginning to short out on him. The space cyborg cursed his luck, but he’d be back in action again when his creators came back and salvaged his body…
