Name: Xyn Homeworld
Story appearances: Rygama series episodes 2 & 5(mostly referenced)
Size: Technically the entire planet, though only two Australia-sized continents of land exist.
Description: A COLOSSAL alien jungle, seemingly built for giant monsters. A purple sky and three moons create an alien atmosphere, as do the massive trees, each one towering thousands of feet high. The branches of these trees often grow out of the trunk and arch right back into the earth, creating a spidery appearance and creating cover.
Alien foliage creates a considerable amount of cover, the likes of which even a fifty meter monster could hide in.
Hazards and Notable Landmarks:
The oxygen on the xyn homeworld is much thicker and more condensed than our own. Surpassing even the Carboniferous era in terms of thick air, the oxygen does support extended exertion for giant monsters - at a price. Incendiary weapons have a 70% chance of igniting the air around them, causing them to blow up in the user's face. Though a continuous beam might actually be augmented by the explosive atmosphere, most beam-spammers find themselves too startled or in-pain to maintain a blast long enough to actually land a hit.
Alien fauna abounds. While most flee in the presence of large beings, some are notably capable of tangling with them. In the waters lurk many strange creatures, one of them being a hyper-aggressive crustacean-like beast. While this bus-size animal is too small to do any real harm, its toothy jaws can provide a painful surprise to any monsters who think they have it made in the water.
Car-sized flying and crawling parasites abound, much like mosquitoes on Earth. While these creatures are totally harmless to giant monsters, they're nonetheless EXTREMELY annoying.
