[glow=red,2,300]Kaiju 2[/glow] Chapter 1: A New World Three Years Ago The sick cackles of Gigan and the raging cries of Ghidorah filled the upper atmosphere as the former pair of allies unleashed Hell upon one another. The fighting pair were oblivious to the events happening beneath and above them, all that mattered to the pair was bringing the ultimate destruction to each other. The fight was on in air, between the Earth and the blackness of space that greeted both of them only mere miles above. The golden hydra spewed fourth a stream of golden light at the blue-tinted, visor eyed creature, but the beast vanished in a ball of light and quickly appeared behind the dragon. With sadistic glee Gigan brought down its chainsaw arms and ripped into the flesh of Ghidorah's back. Cries of horror ripped free from the depths of Ghidorah's three throats as bolts of lightning leaped from his wings and fired into the face of his old friend. The cyborg was flung backward but managed to avoid the second barrage of purple lightning. Gigan's tail-mounted booster kicked to life and he flew forward, smashing his form into Ghidorah and sending the hydra backward with a cry of rage. The serpentine necks of Ghidorah lashed out like snakes and clamped down on Gigan's body. The hydra cackled loudly as Gigan's chainsaws ripped upward, slashing into Ghidorah's wings and sending a shower of blood to the ground, but the serpentine jaws refused to release their prey. The areas being bitten exploded into showers of sparks and smoke as Ghidorah fired his gravity beams into Gigan's frame. The cybrog cried aloud and brought up its tail as if a scorpion's. The weapon lanced downward, stabbing into Ghidorah's center head and making all three maws release him. The cyborg's other hand came up and sliced across as its feet came up also. The machine flipped in the air and use its feet to uppercut all three of Ghidorah's skulls... The golden hydra now made its move that would free the Earth. As Gigan returned to its normal stance, all three of Ghidorah's teeth-lined maws fired their beams. The beams snaked around one another before meshing into one beam of power. Gigan shrieked before the powerful stream crashed into its skull and sent an entire wall of fire floating upward from its head. The man-made cyborg began to fall downward like a dead bird, all of its limbs limp while Ghidorah stared down, watching his former ally fall to the Earth... The rest of the battle is common knowledge on Earth. The defeat of the Klenthurians, but the death of over half of the Earth population, a very cruel twist that gained us victory. Who survived the final battle remains unknown. Stagthorn and Blaradon have yet to be found, the same goes for Gigan and Ghidorah. Frostbite, the gigantic hero that merged his very being with Bit Cloud managed to survive his own ordeal, but Bit has now long been in coma, unable to awaken from his trance-like sleep. They say he'll survive and some day come out of it, but when remains a mystery. Felsic, the gigantic volcano dragon has not been seen since the final battle. Rosmarus Maximus, the giantic walrus, is thought to have escaped into the sea and fled from death, a search for the rogue creature has been on ever sense. The halves of Meta-Ghidorah have yet to be recovered from the sea, while its own defeaters, Thunder and Scorpadon, are believed to be thriving somewhere in the Pacific. From the final war of Earth, Tokyo was devastated like no city ever before it. No buildings remained standing and the base beneath it was no longer in service. Rivers of lava flowed freely throughout, and talks of ditching the city completely were common throughout, but the biggest loss came from the weapons unleashed by the Klenthurians. The first beam hit the Southern United States. The entire state of Florida, along with parts of Georgia and South Carolina, have been sent to the waves. The second attack hit Africa, the third South America, namely the Amazon regions. The fourth beam smashed into China's mountainous regions while the fifth hit the Middle East. From the ashes of death the beams brought, the unknown alien energies began to mutate the animals and people of the regions. Countless species of mutation began to spread, some endangering entire countries. But the mutant species weren't alone, many 'kaiju-level' freaks rose up also, ready to bring wrath down upon the heads of all. The bringer of the apocalypse, Saberon was apprehended inside the Tyranno and taken. His death remains to be seen, as does his body guard's Gatoro. A slow year passed for the Earth, a very slow and painful year as people figured out what had happened. People cursed the Gods for this, but religion was the last of anyone's worries when it was discovered, thanks to Gatoro, that there was a populated and weaponized base in the Arctic used by the Klenthurians. It took three weeks afterward for just a small band to break in and rescue Saberon and Gatoro from a demise at the hands of man. Everything on the Klenthurian front has now been silent for two years. Some think they may have left the Earth and are prepping a third invasion force. This has yet to be discovered....... Tokyo, Japan September 13, 2017 Buildings by the dozen, some finished and others in the middle of construction, stretched high into the blue sky. A flock of birds flew around the metropolis, complaining loudly at the lack of food. Moving around on the outskirts, two creatures. One the familear giant frog known to everyone as Swamp, a massive bio-weapon that would soon aid mankind in some of its darkest days. The other was something else, something new. Revealed only the week previous, the creature stood upright like a man, but drags a balf pink tail behind it. A vermin head sat atop its black fur-covered body and screeched aloud as flocks of people swarmed around it. Oohing and aweing they went, and this man-made monster was eager to give them the pictures of their life. The beast pressed its fists on its thighs and pointed his elbows out. His head pointed upward into the air with his chin extended outward as if giving the humans a new hero to worship. Swamp on the other hand, sat back, tired of all the human reporters flocking him with flashes of light. Not far away, another mass had gathered around what once was the Diet Building. The rubble was cleared away long since the battlefield, and now sitting in its place what could only be described as a gigantic podium. Two groups of people sat ficing one another, but standing on the podium were two objects blanketed in huge white sheets, giving the soon-to-be-released objects a ghostly look. Whispers came from the many in attendance, but on the podium, the officials of the formed United Earth Defense Forces sat silently. General Miles Kurich was clearly garnering much attention from the press as he took a long drag of a cigar and poufed the smoke out his mouth. An electronic clock rested above the men as if teasing those in waiting for the release to actually begin. To make it worse every second was also being timed, and as the final minutes passed, the reporters and spectators quickly began to grow louder with their talks. The talks quickly ended when a famielar figure rose up from his seat. Major Palta walked cooly to the tiny microphone and leaned down to speak. "Welcome." He began, but the a loud squeek quickly emerged from the speaker system, "Ahem, welcome ladies and gentlemen of the world. We appreciate you coming all this way, and I'm sure you're also eager to find out as to why you have been called." "I told him to open up with a joke." Greg leaned over and said to Miles, forcing a grin to creep across the General's face. "Why have we come?" A voice boomed from the audiance. "I was getting to that." Palta quickly responded obviously somewhat annoyed, "Today we unveil the next generation in Anti-Kaiju defense. A new weapon system devised not just by Guylos industries, but also by the Nerv Organization. A joint project that brought nearly every country together in this dire time of need. This was the first time in world history that Japan, the United States, Russia, China, and all of Europe came together to help mankind instead of destroying it!" He began to pull his body away from the microphone, but continued to lean somewhat down into it. "The Gojulas and the Gun Sniper!" The white sheets covering the massive objects fell to the sides of the machines. The machines stood tall and proud, glistening in the afternoon sun as flashes erupted from the audiance as they got the first pictues of these marvelous weapons. The first, the Gojulas, stood much taller than any previous Zoid. A whopping fifty meters tall, the machine was heavily based on the legendary Godzilla himself. Spines ran down its back, and a massive maw filled with teeth grinned eerily. On its sides stretched massive cannons who's demonstration of power had yet to be known public. The other was smaller, no larger than the Rev Raptors, but it looked much more astonishing than its cousins. Its head almost has a dracoinian look to it, as does its tail which was bent to the side and the tip looking at its creators. The tip of the tail housed a barrel that stared on with darkness. "To explain further on these massive weapons, I turn this ordeal over to one Mr. Gendo Ikari, leader and CEO of Nerv." Palta walked back to his seat by Kurich. The highly dressed man pulled down his sunglasses and grasped both hands. "Not a public speaker?" He heard Kurich ask him. "Not at all." He responded. As Gendo spoke proudly about the creations, the human witnesses were oblivious to what was sitting out at sea. The Hammer Kaiser, now fully reparied from the previous war, housed hundreds of proud Guylos and Nerv workers, but something else was also being held there. A pair of orange eyes blazed in the darkness of the belly of the machine. A loud boom echoed through the darkness as its tail bashed against the metal side. "I'm coming I'm coming." A voice called out in the darkness. The lights kicked on above the reptillian creature, making its arms come up above its face and then fall back down. Its pupils quickly returned to normal as it barked aloud like a hungry dog. Brock looked up at the towering behemoth that was quickly starting to release drops of drool from the sides of its crocodillian maw. The creature stood much like the extinct Suchomimus, but its entire body was coated in an alligator-pattern of scales. Deadly, talon-like claws tipped every finger and toe while a forked tongue emerged from its mouth and licked the air. Its head lowered down and touched the floor in front of Brock as if a dog bowing to its master. "You're hungry." The Sergeant said, making the reptile's head lift up and its tail sway back and fourth. "You know I spoil you three." The black man said, turning around and pressing the palm of his hand on a green tinted screen on the wall. "Ok Sucho, you know the deal. Remain underwater and come back within fifteen." A grunt came from the bipedal crocodile as Brock left the dock and closed the door behind him. "I'm letting the big green out." He said, holding in two buttons next to the door and speaking into a black circle, "He has fifteen minutes out there." "Roger that, head on up the bridge." Melissa's voice replied, "We have a surprise for you." The man walked through the shockingly empty halls, but with the unveiling going on, it didn't seem so out-of-place. Must of the crew was given off or was at the showing. The Sergeant began to whistle to himself as he thought back to when he was first brought on board this entire project, before it was known as the U.E.D.F. Within a few minutes he reached the main bridge of the massive transport.... The lights were off, but the human could quickly tell there was something off. "Ok, haha, funny." A dark laugh began to come through the darkness, making the man step back and throw his arm to the side. The lights kicked to life. "SURPISE!" Over a dozen workers shouted in the room. Brock's hand came up to the side of his face. "I forgot..." Milenko burst through the crowd in a total clown outfit. "You forgot about your own birthday? Humans." He laughed, spinning around and handing the man a balloon dog. "This isn't going to give be rabies or attack me, is it?" He replied, holding the balloon dog out. "Only if you want it to." An hour passed in Brock's thirty-fifth birthday party, and all was good for the people inside. A rare time of peace had come over the forces, but they didn't have their guard down, not even for a brief get together like this. "I got to let Suchodon back in." Brock said, completly forgetting about the oversized reptile. "He's fine." Demortis spoke up, handing the human a glass. "It's not beer, but it tastes just as good." Brock looked at the cup and handed it to another. "Never touch the stuff." He said, heading for the exit. "Suchodon's fine." A Texan voice shouted out at him, "He's five miles out and submerged. Every good dog deserves a nice long time of play." "T.. Tex?" Brock responded, "Thought you were suppose to be on leave." "Blah to that." The man responded, "Leave in this perfession means they just don't want to pay ya'." Demortis vanished back into the midst and caught up with Milenko whom was trying to wow some ladies with balloon tricks. "And for my next trick, watch me make my own balloon grow twice in size and turn from blue to..." "Don't finish that statement." The demon cut in, "Come, I found something most interesting earlier." "Fun Fun Bags are usually more so." The clown-dressed creature laughed. "Now." Demortis ordered, pulling Milenko by the arm. "We might be able to use it to get our powers back." "Everything else tried has failed, what makes you think this will work?" Milenko answered back, finally removing his attention from the female workers to his old demon friend's. "And even if we did, there's nothing stoping Hades from simply pulling fourth a new bull crap move and removing them again." "Rule twenty." Demortis replied, "He can't. Not as long as we're on this plane. He could send some, but himself, impossible. You should know that by now." "Yes Yes." He responded, now following his friend as they walked out of the party. "What is this big discovery anyway?"

Chapter 2: Surprise Attack
Tokyo, Japan September 13, 2017
The Hessian stood alone in the new docks of the Nerv base. Unlike the previous one, this one was much more apparent than the last, after all, there are no more reasons to hide its existence. While most of the base still stretched beneath the streets, a large tower tipped the streets. The tower was more or less a spiral with four prongs sticking out of the top. Exactly four of these towers had been placed around the city, each equipped with an easy elevator-like mechanisms for the machines and various weaponry, but it was inside the bottom of the docks today is where the noise was coming from. The Hessian, as proud as it stood, was swarming with electrical snakes and tubes. Four long gashes stretched down from its throat to its groin, as well as several chunks of missing armor.
Solaron stood on the right foot of the monolith machine, a torch in hand as he welded a missing piece of armor back into place. The Fire Lizard continued to work, pushing hard against the red-hot metal with the palm of his hand while soldering the edges to the leg.
"How's it going up there?" A voice called out, grabbing the reptile's attention. Solaron's head turned to the side as his forked tongue emerged from the tip of his snout and licked the air. The creature shrugged before going back to work on the damaged Hessian. "Hey!" Miles shouted again, but this time the Klenthurian didn't look back.
"What's his problem?" Greg asked, catching up behind Miles. "Seems to be pissed."
"He is." The General said, "Don't blame him for one. With the Chimera and Zach stationed over in the United States, he's got all of Asia, Australia, Africa, and Middle East to handle."
"What the new Zoids are for after all." The scientist began to walk forward again, "Once they're put out, the only thing he'll need to worry about is large scale mutants, and we both know they don't come up everyday."
As the two headed for the door, Solaron fell from the foot of the Hessian and leaped before them. "I'm running out of parts." The creature said annoyed, "I can't keep recycling every last bit. Every time it comes-"
"We know." General Kurich cut in, "There's a new shipment of steel plates and parts coming in next week from Guylos designed specifically to fit the Hessian."
"And what if we get attacked like we did last week, General?" Solaron spat back, "First by a mutant whats-it and then another? Four battles in less than a week! New parts or not, she can't keep up with that."
Greg cut in between the two, "You know you're not alone with this problem?" He said, referring to Zach over in the States.
"The Chimera hasn't had a battle in over two weeks." The Fire Lizard answered, "I checked up with it last night."
"Well soon the Hessian won't need to be in constant use either." Dr. Himes said, "But I don't know about you two, but I'm not in the mood for getting into a militaristic debate. I'm hungry and I'm tired."
"If you two see Brock, tell him Happy Birthday for me." Solaron yelled up as the two walked forward. Kurich rose his hand, "Been down in the pits all day." He added, but only muttering to himself as he turned around to finish fixing up the piece of armor he had been working on.
Back at the Hammer Kaiser, as night was starting to set, Demortis and Milenko walked back into their own quarters. The forces refused to give up a lab for the pair, but did agree to their previous terms with a room in the Kaiser. The pair kicked off their shoes to feel the black sand at their feet. The room, like the one they had shortly at the Lizard's Nest, wasn't so much a room but a recreation of Hell itself. The air was always on hot, the floor was covered in black sand, and the walls were covered in black and gray stone. Likewise, the tables and chairs were also created from rock.
"I found something in one of my books, it may let us regain our powers." The demon said, making the clown repeat his usual oh response with a slow drag. Demortis ignored the eye roll and continued on, "In two months the Flores Comet will be passing over Earth and will be seen throughout most of Europe."
Milenko lit up a cigarette. "Yeah? So?"
"The Flores Comet houses the blood of rage, or have you forgotten that too?" Demortis flipped open to a page in his book that showed a monstrous beast wrecking havoc on Earth, "Now I don't know what it is, but the blood of Rage is suppose to give its users power. Great power-"
"The Rage is nothing more than a virus you idiot." Milenko cut in quickly and harshly, "It's nothing more, nothing less. The comet has passed this planet dozens of times, and as long as no nation is foolish enough the shoot missiles at it, the rage doesn't escape."
"The f*ck would you know?" Demortis quickly asked back, slamming the book shut.
"I'm an astrogeologist..... Ok, I read about it online. Some NASA probes discovered the fluid inside the comet almost six years ago. Lab tests showed it didn't effect animal life, just plants. And there's nothing there we could use to regain our powers."
The demon fell backward, catching himself in a rock chair. "Sh*t."
Milenko fell to his own rear on the sand, "Was a nice try though. Come on, lets get back to the party. Still might be able to hide the pickle in the hair sandwich."
The day came to a close, and the night came to an opening over the city of Tokyo, but in the distance, hungry eyes watch with an evil intent. The cold blackness of the round eyes reflected the image of Tokyo in the distance and blinked. A strange fascination the beast had, and its round head and long body slowly dipped beneath the dull water. On deck, in the bridge of the Kaiser, a person was resting back until the sonar screen let out a beep. The man put his feet back on the floor.
"Turn around." He begged the Gods as the object began to quicken pace. "Sh*t." He muttered, turning around and grabbing a piece of paper and crumbling it in his hands. He threw the ball of paper at the back of one of his colleagues whom were asleep at the post, nothing new at this time of night.
"What is it?" The other complained with a yawn.
"Go get the boss man, we got something on a line with the city. Seems to be a mutant, but is pretty damn big." The other nodded and rushed out the door while he sounded the alarm. Within only a few seconds more were pouring into the room, sitting down at various seats. Some didn't even have time to be fully dressed and still wore parts of their night clothes they hadn't had time to change.
Melissa walked into the room, looking around as others took their seats. "What's the reading?" She asked, walking closer to the sonar screen and looking over the others shoulder.
"Three-hundred meters long. Seems to be a type of snake or eel." He answered her.
"Good." She turned around, "Shouldn't be hard to limit this to the wat-" She was suddenly cut off as the Hammer Kaiser rocked back and fourth. A loud bending noise came from outside, followed by a loud bang, as if an explosion ripped through the ship.
"Losing systems." He said, "It was an electrical-" The sonar-man was quickly cut off as another zap hit the ship. The lights inside turned off and then flickered back on.
"We got leaks!" A voice called out. "Weapons going offline." Another shouted.
"He's too close to attack anyway." She said, stepping to the side. "Brock, I know you can hear me." She said, pushing down on one of the buttons thus making her voice come over the intercom, "Send Suchodon out. We're under attack. Only four-hundred meters out."
The creature's long body rose from the water, slithering around itself as its cold eyes stared dully at the ship that was flashing. An antenna-like lure fell from the top of its head and dropped at the end of its face. Its slimy mouth opened up once again to reveal a pair of saw-like teeth lines. A forked tongue danced in its maw before a bolt of surging electricity was cast fourth from its throat. The bolt washed across the soaked Hammer Kaiser and quickly send a cloud of white streaming into the air.
Inside the ship, Suchodon hissed loudly as he tried to stand. Brock leaned against the wall and switched on the lights, but they refused to come on at first. They flickered as if a dying heart before finally fully coming on. Suchodon growled softly. "Go get 'em." Brock said, swiping his card across the panel and swiftly typing in the pass. Not far away, Plague and Swamp's own heads rose up and looked out at the Hammer Kaiser, and quickly saw the flashes of light repeating themselves. The two Bio-Weapons looked at one another and snorted before lowering their heads to go back to sleep, both knowing full well it was now Suchodon's time to prove himself.
The mutant eel shrieked loudly and lifted its huge body out of the water even more so. A frill around its head flapped open as if a flower as it challenged the thing it thought was a meal, but then the meal answered back. A thunderous snarl came from within the belly of the transport as Suchodon repeatedly slammed its taloned feet on the metal floor. Drum-like beats continued to rise from the machine as the top of the object slid back. Without warning, a huge form launched itself from the machine as if a missile. The mutant eel snarled again, but had little time to react as Suchodon's form fell on it.
The water shot upward as if a fountain as the bipedal crocodile forced the eel back into the water. The sea monster's antenna flashed brightly as an electrical burst was released through its very being. Suchodon cried loudly, ignoring the surges of electricity as his paws held onto the wiggling demon. The creature's head came up and released a blast of electricity into the face of the reptile. Suchodon sped backward, rubbing his forehead with one arm while he spun around and lashed out with his tail. The eel ducked down, avoiding the hit by mere feet as its own body launched upward, maw wide open and ready to take a chunk clean out of Suchodon. The maw latched onto Suchodon's fist as its long body began to snake around Suchodon's.
The crocodilian monster snarled loudly as he fought back, trying to pull himself free from the tight coils. The beast's dagger-like claws slashed downward, stabbing into the scaly flesh. A cloud of red blood began to drift upward before the eel quickly spun away from its foe. The reptile lashed out, grabbing the tail fin of the eel and pulling it back to his awaiting jaws. The huge Bio-Weapon bellowed again as the eel turned its frame around and unleashed another bolt of electricity. Suchodon's free hand rose up, blocking his eyes from the attack while his other effortlessly pulled the mutant eel back even further.
The sea serpent shrieked as it tried to speed away. The sea floor turned to a cloud of sand as the eel's body bashed itself against it an attempt to flee, but Suchodon held on tight. The hand came down from his face while he spun its body, lifting the eel upward and releasing it. As the eel flew upward, Suchodon's legs pushed upward from the floor and quickly caught up with the monstrous eel. The two exploded from the water, not far away from the Hammer Kaiser, with Suchodon's maw housing the center of the eel. The mutant cried in pain and terror as countless teeth ripped into its sides. Suchodon fell back into the water as his body began to twist like that of a crocodile holding a deer's. The black water began to churn and turn red before a loud snap filled the air. Suchodon leaped from the water like a berserking shark, roaring in glee as the two pieces of eel floated on the surface, but something quickly caught its attention. As he leaped from the sea, countless flashes of light came from the distance, from the land.
"Uh-oh." One of the workers said next to Melissa, "Looks like the press just got their exclusive pics."

Chapter 3: Dawn
Tokyo, Japan September 14, 2017
The morning sun stretched high above the calm city, and the photographs from the night before had been so far spread throughout the news already that people were already starting to shy away from the water's edge of Tokyo, despite the forces already releasing details on what had happened, except keeping the fact the crocodillian monster was one of theirs a secret yet.
"Why don't we just release the news of the third?" Tex said, reclining back on his seat and propping both cowboy boots-wearing feet up on the table, "They've handled the other two well enough."
"Because the other two were trained." Palta quickly answered the man and also kicked his feet off from the table, "For how well Suchodon is trained, it'd be equivalent to the news of rescue 911 utilizing a wild lion."
"Well, if they did, I bet there would be far less crime." The man spoke back, once again propping his feet up on the table.
Milenko yawned from across the room and slumped his head against the table. "Soda." He said, making everyone's tired eyes fall on him. "I'm getting a soda. Does anybody else want one?" He added as he pushed his wheeled chair away and spun to his feet. The clown looked around the room before standing up and leaving to get aforementioned drink.
"I fail to see one solid reason we keep him around." Palta said harshly, looking around the room and quickly locking eyes on Demortis.
"He helps me with my work." Demortis said coolly, taking a drink of water. "And you know the deal."
"Oh, I know the deal." The Major responded as he slowly walked to the side of the table, "But that deal also says you two have to help us. What have you two done since joining us?"
"Well for one we stopped the gigantic ice demon, remember?" He answered back quickly, slamming the glass back down.
"A demon YOU two unleashed."
"That's not entirely true."
"God damn it! That's enough!" The General yelled out, "This isn't a discussion on keeping the demons with us or not, and it is not the point at hand."
The others in the room fell silent for half a minute before Milenko walked in with a bottle of soda. "What?" He asked, looking around the room as almost every set of eyes targeted him. "I asked if anybody wanted...." He said softly as he sat down, "Don't blame me if ya' didn't speak up." He added, shouldering Demortis as he took a deep gulp of the Mr. Pibb.
Outside the Hammer Kaiser, Swamp's head popped out of the water. Its black eyes blinked quickly before it plopped back into the calm sea. On the sea floor, Plague clung to a rock with its pink nose sticking out of the water. Every breath making small bubbles erupt from its nostrils. Swamp touched the sandy bottom and began to slash away at it with his black claws. A cloud of sand came from the surface before his head forced its way into the sand and brought up a cluster of over sized worms. But inside the ship, Suchodon was going stir crazy.
Brock sat on a chair next to the wall while reading the newspaper as Suchodon paced back and fourth, slamming his thick tail on the walls repeatedly. Melissa walked through the door and quickly sat her eyes upon the anxious crocodile. The monster's head turned the side and looked down at her. It breathed loudly as it lowered its skull and pointed its snout at her.
Brock lowered his paper and looked up at the female scientist. "Don't get to easy." He warned, "He bites."
Suchodon groaned again, this time followed by its forked tongue emerging from its long snout. The monster fell on all fours and lowered its head closer to the two humans. Melissa stretched her hand out, petting the kaiju on the tip of the nose. The monster closed its eyes in satisfaction and laid its body down.
"He's like a big dog." She said as the creature groaned happily.
"Why are you down here?" Brock said, pulling his paper back up and turning to the next page.
"He did save our asses last night." She said, rubbing the beast's snout more, "Guess I felt I owed him."
"Hmm."
"Tell me, how does one actually train a man-made bio-weapon kaiju?"
"Same way you train any other animal." He responded, "Before I was brought here I trained dogs for the United States Military, so the only thing that really changed was the size of said animals.. And species."
"What about the dangers?" She asked with half a laugh as Suchodon forced her back and pushed his huge snout against her frame.
Brock lowered his paper. "Only danger here is if they get pissed off."
Somewhere in the Pacific Ocean September 14, 2017
"Alright, we got ourselves a big one boys!" A young English man shouted as he fired a round from his gun in the air. The other me on board the Sea Star shouted with glee as the water turned red with blood.
"What the Hell is it?" Another asked, looking over the side as dead eyes starred back up at it. Its top was armored in a green exoskeleton that was crowned with countless spikes of all shapes and sizes. Stretching out around it, tons of tentacles waved softly on the surface as blood continued to spill fourth from a gaping hole on its side.
"A Green Head." The Englishman said, pulling a comb through his thick, jet-black hair. "Thousands of 'em out in the open seas. Can get a pretty penny for one this big."
"You told me we were going fishing!" The other shouted back.
"We are." The Englishman responded, "Just for something... Bigger."
Before the fellow fisherman could argue back, yet another Englishmen shouted out from the top. "Hey Cap'n, we gots radar contact!"
"What is it?"
"I don't know, but it's big! And there's lots of 'em!"
The Captain smiled, "You best hang on." He said, grabbing the other man's shoulder and squeezing before heading up top.
Beneath the waves, a swarm of creatures thrived. Fish fled in terror as the school of mutants swam forward. Circular, black eyes locked onto the bottom of the ship. Its stubby snout opened up to release a terrible scream. On board the Sea Star, the men looked around and over the ship's edge. An eerie glow began to bulge in the darkness.
"Man the torpedoes, gentlemen."
Behind the creature, dozens more swam forward, some snapping at the others next to it.
"One's coming up, Cap'n!"
The water exploded upward as if a depth charge exploded. A long, snake-like body hissed aloud before two streams of smoke were launched from the ship's sides. The missiles exploded on the gigantic eel's side, but only managed to force it back just a few meters.
"It's too big Cap'n!" The man shouted, "Switchin' to the Masers!"
"SWITCH TO THE MASERS!" The Captain shouted, pointing upward at the massive eel.
Two masers fired from the top of the vessel and washed across the eel's front side. The beast snarled aloud as its frill of spikes closed around its head. The eel shouted again as its head dove down like a scorpion's tail. Its armored head ripped through the ship, stopping the masers and sending a ball of fire into the air. The Eel's head pulled back as others of its kind erupted from the deep blue. The men that fell into the churning sea screamed in terror as hungry maws clamped around their forms. As his brothers and sisters fed, the alpha eel reached down, gripping the dead Green Head in its maw and pulling it beneath the foaming sea.

Chapter 4: Job Problems
Somewhere in the Pacific Ocean September 15, 2017
A lone helicopter patrolled the blue skies as the coast guard searched for the missing Sea Star. The sun burned high over head for several hours now, but the search kept on. On the surface of the calm sea, a lone person held on to a floating board. In shock from the attack the night before, the man was unaware of the helicopter that was lowering not far away from him. Within minutes the man was being dragged back to the machine via two swimmers.
"Huge..." The man said in shock as he was pulled on board, "Huge..."
"What's he saying?" The rescuer asked to the other as he continued to ramble.
"He's in shock. We got to get him to a hospital."
Tokyo, Japan September 15, 2017
The two demons walked through the halls of the complex, stopping only so Milenko could mingle with those he knew before passing onward. The day was a rather bland one, especially with the news of the ship being sunk the night before. The bald one, Demortis, was still at a loss on how to regain their old powers, if it was even possible at all, while at this point and time, Milenko didn't seem to care at all, especially with all the attention he himself as been getting. If only the rest of the world knew exactly what he was... Then he wouldn't be so popular or liked.
"You two heard the news right?" Tex's voice called out from behind them.
"So another boat bites the dust." Demortis responded, not turning around, "Big deal."
"Not that. They're unveiling Suchodon this week.. As in tomorrow!"
"This week does not mean as in tomorrow."
"Yeah Yeah. But they want you two to do it!"
"That's real funny." Demortis responded after a few seconds, "Almost had me going."
"No, seriously. Palta has already given the word out to the news people."
Milenko, as of now, wasn't even paying attention as he was talking to a group of female soldiers about this and that.
"Me and Milenko don't do public speaking."
"Well.. uhh.. You do now."
"F*CK!" The demon shouted, finally making Milenko turn his attention back to the matters.
"Gotta' go, works'a callin'. Probably want me to kill some gigantic mutant rabbit-slug."
"Buh-Bye." One of the female soldiers said with a giggle.
"Yeah, so what's up doc?"
"Major Sh*t-head Palta wants us to do the revealing of Suchodon."
Milenko tilted his head and remained silent for a second. "We.. uhh.. Don't do public speaking."
"Well.. You do now." Alan responded, "Palta's at his usual locale if ya' wanna' go cast a spell or something on him."
"You know, that's not a bad idea." The clown demon laughed, "Spell of infinite crabs or something."
Not a half hour later, the doors of the main office slammed closed behind Demortis and Milenko. Kurich, Palta, and Gendo all turned to see the pair of demons-turned-human. "Who in the almighty realm of Hell do you think you are!?" Demortis shouted loudly.
"No need to shout." Gendo said, sitting down slowly on his chair and reaching for a cigarette.
"You." Demortis said, looking at Gendo, "Shut up,"
"There's no need-."
"You too." The bald demon said, cutting off General Kurich from his statement.
Palta took a quick shot of whiskey before answering back. "You two haven't given us any new weapons, data.. Or anything. I figured this would... Even us out. You two are known, so what's the problem?"
"The problem is we don't public speak."
"Not to humans anyway." The clown demon added on, "Against our religion."
"Silence." Demortis quickly said.
"Whoa, what's he mean?" The General cut in, looking at Milenko.
"Exactly what I said." The demon responded, "We don't public speak. We can't bring that much attention to us."
"Well... Why?" The owner of Guylos, removing his eyes from the steaming demon to the shot glass he was filling again.
"I'd hate to f*cking break this to you, but we're not the only demons on this God forsaken planet. Who knows how many Hades decided to send up here to make our lives a living Hell. And believe me, if you think that little Klenthurian force that got in here was back, wait till a pack of Lycans decide to come in here."
"Thought Argus killed Wolfen." The clown cut in before any others, "In Heaven."
"Wait, you can't reveal Suchodon because a pack of werewolves will attack?" Palta laughed loudly, "Werewolves? Now boys, I know we've seen a lot. Dragons, demons... But werewolves?"
"I never said they would. I said they could. There's infinite possibilities, that being the worst."
"Well, what's the best?"
"There are no demons and everything's all dandy and we all live happily ever after." Milenko spoke up again.
"Yeah... You two are still revealing Suchodon. Now get the f*ck outta' my office."

Chapter 5: Attack of the Eels
Tokyo, Japan September 15, 2017
Demortis spat on the ground before walking toward the small flight of steps that lead up to the podium. Milenko looked from side to side behind him before sighing and following his co-demon up. "You have a plan, right?" The clown asked, waving to the crowd as he stood behind Demortis.
The demon placed the palm of his hand on the microphone as he turned to face his friend. "Yeah. Here's Suchodon. Take your pictures."
"Flawless."
Behind the two demons sat the majority of the Guylos and Nerv personal, and chained up behind them is the super-sized, bipedal beast himself. The monster snorted loudly at the hundreds before it, forcing countless camera flashes to gather their pictures of the behemoth. Demortis sighed one last time before beginning to speak to the masses. "Ladies and gentlemen of the press, I give you Suchodon!" He said loudly, trying to pretend to act like he wanted to do the job. Demortis looked behind him, glaring at Palta before looking back into the crowd. "That's all I got."
The demon walked away from the stand, forcing a barrage of questions and statements to come from the people. Palta quickly got up and walked hastily to the stand to pick up where Demortis left off. As he continued to satisfy the people, Demortis and Milenko walked off the stage.
"That went well." The clown said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a piece of gum.
"Tried telling them." Demortis said as they headed back to the cars, "Not my fault he never listens." He said, putting out his hand and making the clown reach for another piece.
"It's banana-flavored."
"K."
Suchodon looked around the stage and smashed its head against the ground as the two walked behind it. Drops of drool fell from its elongated maw as it hissed again and waved its tongue as if a snake. Brock patted the reptile's head, making it stand back up and look at the masses and giving them more perfect picture shots.
But off the coast, trouble was brewing. A swarm of undersea terror was quickly approaching, the same swarm that attacked the fishing boat. It hissed loudly as its many heads lifted from the sea.
"Oh my God." One of the men inside the bridge of the Hammer Kaiser said, staring down at the radar screen. "Get hold of everyone at the revealing."
Melissa, once again stuck back at the ship, walked over to the screen. "They have the same exact patterns as the eel."
"They are. Only there's thirteen of them now, and the numbers keep getting bigger."
The female scientist moved to the side and spoke into the speakers. "Arm all weapons. We have an emergency."
On the stage, a man in an all-black suit walked toward the speaking Palta and whispered into his ear. The owner of Guylos quickly answered loudly. "What?" The other nodded. Palta looked back at the group and spoke back. "Well ladies and gentlemen, it seems as if you'll be getting a first hand show of what Suchodon is capable of."
The people again began to shout at the stage. Palta looked back at Kurich and Gendo whom were already standing up, apparently already told of the dangers. "The Gojulas and Gun Snipers are already going into position." The General said as he caught up with the man. "Twiggy is also getting ready."
"What about the other three?" Gendo asked.
"We'll hold off on them. Only a batch of mutant Eels. It'll all be over by nightfall."
By the time the cars pulled back to the dock, the towering Gojulas was standing tall. It roared loudly toward the sea as the two smaller Gun Snipers walked behind it. The raptor-like Zoids each hissed as they turned around, pointing their tails at the sea and awaiting clean shots. Palta stepped out of the black car and looked to the sea. The Hammer Kaiser was slowly moving closer to the edge of the city, but a growing swarm would see nothing of it. The ship tilted to the side and nearly flipped over as the largest eel rammed the side. The transport splashed back into position just as the others exited the two vehicles.
"Major, let me see your cell phone." General Kurich said as he stepped forward, looking out at sea as a bolt of electricity exploded from the water.
"Where's yours?"
"Left it back at the reveal. Must have slipped out of my pocket."
Palta reached into his pants pocket and pulled out his phone, but Gendo quickly cut in. "It's not going to work. Thirty eels, all generating huge electrical pulses. Didn't you notice the power to most of this area is out?"
Palta and Miles both looked around. "He's right." The Major said, slipping his phone back into his pocket. "I'm sure they can handle themselves on board." Another stream of lighting erupted from the water, this time moving downward and exploding into a fountain of sparks on the ship's side.
"Not them I wanted to get hold of." The General said, looking around as the two demons and Greg approached from behind, "I think we'll need the gun's help."
"No." Greg answered as he walked up, "We won't."
The ground around the area shook as if a series of tremors was ripping through the city. Plague emerged from the side of a building, hissing loudly before it looked down at the small group. The rat-based monster fell on all fours and pointed its pink nose at the blue sea. On the other side of the group, Swamp emerged, croaking loudly as it too looked toward the sea. "Looks like Brock got the news out." Major Palta said as Suchodon's loud growl came from behind them.

Chapter 6: A New Age Battle
Tokyo, Japan September 15, 2017
The largest eel erupted from the water's surface and smashed its entire form on the side of the ship. A gnarly snarl came from one of the many serpent-like beasts as it approached from beneath the Kaiser. Its snake-like body lanced around the ship quickly and began to squeeze, desperately trying to get at the delicious humans that were trapped inside. Almost a mile away, the two Gun Snipers both let out a loud cry as their weapons took aim.
"Now we see if they work." Gendo said, turning around to see the tails vibrating.
BOOM! The weapons fired. Windows on nearby buildings shattered and the people on the ground, at once, covered their ears as the second weapon fired also. The two rounds exploded on the coiling eel. The mutation cried in pain as a fountain of red gore was thrown into the air. Its box-shaped head hissed again, but a third and fourth strike exploded on the section where the head was connected to the body. The blue water around the beast quickly turned dark red as the body, now headless, fell limp. The multitudes of other eels all roared as if one as their heads rose from the deep.
The Gojulas' robotic form stepped up to bat. Its maw opened up to unleash another furious bellow as its twin Republic Cannons banged loudly. The ammunition inside was ready, and now the marvelous machine was taking aim on the many aquatic predators. The two Gun Snipers both slowly moved to the side as the titan's legs banged on the cement. With another thunderous boom, the two cannons fired as if one. The water where the mutants swarmed exploded upward as if a meteor had impacted the sea. The eels all spread out, escaping the blast as the water continued to spray upward. Several smaller mutants that were launched into the air fell back, some landing in the water, while others splattered against the Hammer Kaiser like tiny insects on a car's windshield.
"I think we're done here." Gendo responded to the water crashing back down to sea. The others didn't have time to respond for the ground quickly began to shake. The Gun Snipers both leaped to the side as a large crack ripped through the streets. "Maybe not." The man spoke, stepping to the side as the cement cracked around the ground he stood on.
"What's going on?" The demon clown cried aloud as he ran back to the cars, ready to leave. However, before he could reach the vehicle, the street opened up as if a massive mouth. The car fell into the darkness as a loud cry came from within. A bolt of blue-tinted electricity rose from the darkness and arched, coming back down on the streets. An eel escaped the ground as its frill of spikes opened up to reveal its head and tooth-lined, hissing maw. Plague roared loudly as he turned around, but the furry Bio-Weapon was quickly dispatched by a well-placed bolt to the face. The eel swiped the attack sideways, swiping both Suchodon and Swamp with the damaging electricity.
"What do we do!?" Demortis quickly shouted through the commotion as Swamp fell to the ground not a hundred yards away.
"Run." The General said, looking behind him as the water lifted up as if a single wave was about to crash.
Dozens of mutant eels shouted hungrily at the small group before them. As the largest of eels busied itself with the Bio-Weapons and Zoids, the eels seemed guaranteed of their new meal. Milenko fell to his back as one of the eels' heads shot down at him, but a loud, chain-like blast quickly made the eels fall back. Twiggy charged forward with massive steps as its two Laser Vulcans continued to fire. The many eels fired back, spewing fourth streams of electric bliss at the Super Zoid.
"Never been so glad to see him." Major Palta quickly said as he ran to the side as the weapon unleashed more rounds of its furious weapon on the swarming monstrosities.
The robotic Styracosaurus roared loudly as he forced his way through the Bio-Weapons, giving itself clearer shots at the many Eels. "Where are we running to!?" Demortis asked as he followed the group.
"Someplace that isn't here!" One of the men responded loudly as a wall of fire engulfed the background.
The largest eel cried again as its maw gripped the arm of Suchodon. The monster, almost three times the length of Suchodon, lifted the reptile up and threw it to the side as if a rag doll. The creature's form crashed through a small warehouse and sent a cloud of black smoke and sparks into the blue sky. Swamp's huge hands bashed the ground before it leaped into the air, claws ready to render the aquatic fiend to ribbons. The snake-like mutant hissed again as its body surged with electricity. A pulse of energy ripped through the streets and through Swamp's form, sending the Bio-Weapon flying back and splashing into the squirming sea. Swamp's cries of sheer pain quickly filled the air as the numerous beasts began to rip through his flesh with hungry jaws.
Twiggy walked up the water's edge and quickly began to fire with keen skill. Its two weapons buzzed loudly as it fired at the monsters swimming toward the huge frog. Both Gun Snipers and the Gojulas also walked up, trying to cover Swamp as he headed back to land. One of the eels leaped from the water with its maws wide open. Dagger-like fangs ripped into the throat of one of the Gun Snipers and pulled it down. A loud splash followed as Swamp escaped the sea. The Gojulas roared with anger as its Republican Cannons fired at the sunken Gun Sniper. The water again erupted into the air and sent dozen of eels flying sky high, but then came another explosion. The attack had also activated all of the Gun Snipers weapons.
As the battle continued, inside the underground base, Solaron was readying himself. The red Klenthurian licked the air with its forked tongue before strapping himself into the cockpit of the Hessian. "Tex, I want some support down there." He said, switching on the weapon's systems and making its round eye flash yellow.
"Right." The Texan said, "The city's towers are already being activated."
The Hessian's right arm lifted to the side. Its frame creaked with age as it stepped forward. A large door lifted into the massive wall, allowing the machine to access the elevator built specifically for U.E.D.F weapons like itself. "Be careful out there. Watch the damage."
"Not this again." The Fire Lizard spat back, "Just a bunch of random mutants." He said, switching off the radio.
The four tower-like structures that rose into the air from the city's corners surged with energy. Ports on the closest two opened up to reveal lines of red and white-patterned missiles. "Towers ready." The Texan said to himself, "Y'all can handle the rest?" He said, looking at the other workers in the room. They all just nodded. "Good, Ima go see mah gal now."
The water exploded into the air once more as a gigantic eel leaped from it as if a flying fish. The scaly monster's drooling jaws clamped around the leg of Plague, quickly drawing red blood and forcing the Bio-Weapon on all fours. Shouts came from the rat-like hero as the mutant's jaws tightened and its serpentine body slowly began to pull it back into the depths in which it called home. Other eels snaked into the air, all ready to clamp hungry jaws on Plague's furry form until several explosions ripped into the beasts. The creature holding its leg released him and fell to the water as one of the Tokyo Defense Towers fired another slew of missiles. Streams of blue energy added to the assault and sent wave after wave of fire through the swarming eels.
Plague crawled forward and hissed as he stood up. The creature's black eyes looked down at the bleeding leg before returning to face the huge eel that was now attempting to gnaw Suchodon in half. The crocodilian monster shouted in rage as the eel's over-large maw ripped into his green, tough hide. Suddenly the beast released it catch to cry in sheer pain as rounds of Twiggy's Laser Vulcans exploded on its end. It fell forward, ripping the street in two as its long form crashed. The young reptile quickly charged forward, gripping the sides of the mutant's head and forcing his jaws to clamp shut, sideways, on the eel's upper jaw. A fall of red ooze came from the eel's face as Suchodon's razor-sharp teeth ripped into the soft flesh inside its mouth. The dinosaur-like crocodile continued its biting until the eel hissed again and its frill of spikes shot closed. The dagger-like spikes ripped into the sides of Suchodon's face, forcing the beast to release him and cry out in pain.
The eel's head lifted into the air and snarled in fury once again as blood fell from its upper jaw. The beast's head shot down again, ready to rip into Suchodon's body once again, but Swamp would see nothing of it. The huge frog held on tight to the end of the eel's tail and began to pull. Its angry eyes shot around at the frog as he pulled the eel away from Suchodon. The crocodile growled softly before leaping into the air, hugging the neck of the eel. Black claws stabbed into its flesh as if knives. As gravity pulled Suchodon downward, the claws tore downward, ripping the flesh apart and exposing more of the mutant's blood to the world. The creature hissed in fury as another electrical pulse sent both Swamp and Suchodon flying in opposite directions.
Like Swamp before him, Suchodon landed in the raging sea. The super-sized reptile, already knowing what was in the sea, began to swim toward the distant Hammer Kaiser. Fire from the Gun Sniper, Gojulas, and Twiggy covered him before he met the transport again. The people inside the transport looked in awe as the crocodile climbed up the side with shocking skill and stood upon the top, ready to attack any creatures that followed, fortunately for the saurian-like monster and the Hammer Kaiser, none seemed to.
The huge eel shouted in rage once more as Swamp and Plague stood up, ready to take him on once more. The stranded Suchodon watched on from the distance as the kaiju met the eel head on. The monster's tail lashed out as if it had a mind of its own, but Swamp nimbly leaped to the side before once again catching it in a firm grip. The amphibious monster again held the monster as Plague seemingly repeated what Suchodon had done prior. Bolts of electricity escaped the creature's maw as it tried to fire at the rat, but it was in vain. Another Bio-Weapon had landed on its already gore-covered chest. The rat, instead of falling, climbed up the long kaiju's body and held onto the base of the head.
Swamp croaked loudly and nodded its head as Plague gripped one of the spikes of the frill and swiftly tore it free from the eel's body. As blood fell upon the rat, its other hand reached up. Its fingers, tipped with dagger-like claws, pressed against the mutant's bottom jaw, barely able to stick into its frame. As the rat held on with one hand, Swamp again snorted and released the tail. In an instant he was in the air and falling with both feet stretched down. A loud thud echoed throughout the area as Swamp's weight and speed forced the eel down. Plague's claws remained forced against the eel's bottom jaw until the rat was sandwiched between its head and the ruined ground. The hand, however, had nowhere to go but up. The eel managed to release a quick cry of pain as the claws of the hand ripped through the bottom jaw, and then the top jaw. Swamp leaped off of its skull, quickly looking at Plague whom was laying back first on the ground with his entire arm, from finger tips to elbow, impaled in the eel's jaws.
The fleeing humans heard the sickening rip and quickly turned to see what had happened. Swamp now pulled the kaiju's head up, allowing Plague to escape from underneath its dead frame. "They done it!" Milenko said, stopping in his tracks as Plague stood up tall and brushed chunks of meat from his fur.
The Hessian finally appeared on the battlefield, but the Fire Lizard could only look on at the result of the fight. A grand total of only two buildings were demolished and the ruined street could be fixed within a few weeks. "Finally." The Klenthurian said, but then his eyes met the image of the swarm.
Suchodon also watched on from the top of the Hammer Kaiser. Its maw fell open as he clung to the top with his arms an legs. The many eels, at the death of the gigantic one, seemed to stop their frenzy. Many heads softly bobbed up and down in the water. Several others rose from the depths and looked around in a confused manor as if they didn't know what was happening. Plague and Swamp also looked at the massive swarm and groaned as the creatures remained still. Swamp walked to the water's edge and fell to a crouching position. Its maw opened up to release a thunderous croak, not unlike that of a bull frog's.
The water erupted in another frenzy, but instead of charging, the group fled. The snake-like monsters parted into two groups around the Hammer Kaiser and swam around the sides before diving deep and vanishing in the blue. The frog stood up tall and turned around to face the others.
"Never heard of that before." Major Palta said as he leaned against the wall of a building.
"Nor have I." Greg responded, scratching his beard. "I want to study that giant one. See what's going on here."

Attack of The Rage
Chapter 7: The Test
Guylos Testing Grounds Nevada Desert October 18, 2017
A monster-sized arena filled the once quiet desert with noise. People by the hundreds flocked to the grandstands that sat on every side of the huge, five mile by five mile rena. The combatants that would be fighting here had yet to make their appearance, but the people knew the drill. Some came every time to see what new weapons Guylos had up their sleeves, others came simply to donate their own money to the corporation that was helping to make survival on this now dangerous world easier. Others came simply to get away and spend time with families. Today the stands were filled higher than usual, no doubt because the U.E.D.F was very hush hush about the massive eel that had attacked Japan last month. By now it had been foreseen that if something big happens, and only limited details are given, that something much bigger was behind it. Several papers already claimed the Klenthurians were behind the super-sized mutant. The news offered no peace to the people, but watching the finest creations of Guylos test one another did.
The arena, surrounded by an invisible shield barrier, was locked in place by four building-sized poles. On each side, however, sat the grandstands, and by those, smaller buildings. Some for basic snacks and drinks, others for tickets, but one was for the personnel of the forces. One such building was now filled with people busying themselves with the preparations of the oncoming battle that would begin, but something was wrong. Usually General Kurich and Dr. Himes came to watch firsthand, but this time they weren't. Major Palta was alone as he over saw the conditions.
"The Whale King has arrived." One of the men said, turning on a video link with the first transport. "You know what to do." The same person said.
"About time, we can hear him rattling around up there from here." The captain of the ship said, "Any specific areas?"
The man looked back up at Palta who shook his head no. "Nope. Just get down to about five-hundred meters and release him."
The huge mechanized whale slowly moved over the first batch of bleachers, making every person around cheer loudly. The machine, in just a few seconds, found itself in the center of the ring and slowly lowering down until reaching the desired height. The whale's body shuddered before the hatches on its belly opened up. Suchodon hissed loudly and tried to leap away, but the monster fell anyways. Its claws grasped at the edge as he tried to pull himself up.
Sergeant Daxter ran toward the monster, trying to get him to drop down. "It's ok." The man reassured the creature as he continuously kicked its dangling legs, "Go! NOW!" He suddenly shouted after the crocodile snorted in defiance. The beast shouted loudly as he released his hands. It fell, screaming like a banshee every inch before landing on all fours. The people all laughed as it stood up and shook its head side to side. The monster's forked tongue emerged from its reptilian snout as the Great Whale King drifted back into the air and escaped the crowd's chants.
Palta walked to one of the windows and looked out before one of the men spoke aloud, telling him that Kurich was on the line.
"Anything new?' He asked into the phone, not even saying hello before hand. "What? I can't just leave." The Major said loudly, making several heads in the building turn to face him, "What ever it is, it's going to have to wait until this test is done." After a few more seconds, the Major pressed the phone back into place. He formed a fist in his hand and lowered his head. "Damn it." He muttered softly, returning back to the window.
Suchodon paced back and fourth in the arena, trying to find a way out. His claws raked at the invisible shield and his confusion was quickly showing as he continued to try and bite at the invisible wall. Not before long the Great Whale King was again moving closer, and this time, as the doors opened, nothing fell out. Suchodon shouted loudly, and then the familiar croak and shriek of Plague and Swamp emerged. The two Bio-Weapons leaped from the darkness and landed on their feet, both pulling a pose that made the crowds go nuts. The crocodile backed away, hissing as he dug his feet into the soil and remembered what he has been trained thus far.
Plague was the first to move. The huge rat leaped through the air as if a hungered wolf, but the reptile remembered the incident from the last battle in which the monster quickly pinned him. Instead the saurian side stepped and lashed out with his tail, smashing the weapon against Plague's skull and sending it flying back and rolling to a stop. Swamp croaked loudly and repeated the previous attack, but quickly adding a new curve. The tail lashed out again, but Swamp's form flipped in mid-air, allowing himself to connect with a kick to the creature's side.
As Suchodon stumbled to the side, Swamp turned as he fell and lashed out with the other foot, smashing it hard into its head also. The reptile fell to the side in a cloud of dust as Swamp's massive arms smashed the ground. Before the dust could settle, however, the kaiju's form leaped from it. Its body crashed onto Swamp's as its maw clamped around his shoulder. When Suchodon's feet touched the ground, they quickly bent, allowing him to leap into the air, pulling Swamp with him. The frog was flipped head-over-heels before being smashed back first on the ground. The crocodile released the Bio-Weapon and smashed a foot on its chest as he roared loudly, but its roar was quickly ended.
Plague's frame bashed into his, sending the young monster falling forward. The rat shrieked as he gripped the tail of Suchodon and began to pull him back. The dinosaur-like creature fought back and lashed out with his feet before his body turned around and jaws snapped closed just before Plague's face. The rat released the crocodile in shock, allowing the beast to strike him again with his long tail. Plague fell backward, but caught himself before his back smashed against the ground. Now in a reverse crab-walk, the monster's legs lifted from the ground and flipped behind him, pulling his form back to his normal bipedal stance.
"That's enough." Major Palta said as Suchodon roared aloud.
"Sir?"
"We're done here. He can move upward to his next level of training. Get hold of the Whale King and tell them to come pick up Plague and Swamp first."
"Yes sir."
Tokyo, Japan October 18, 2017
Dr. Himes and Silver stood around the massive, all-metal table that the gigantic eel's brain sat upon. For the most part, the creature's control center looked normal, except for the side in which a round, basketball-sized metallic object stuck out. The man reached forward, gripping the object with a gloved hand and pushing inward. His other hand brought up a small scalpel and began to cut around the object. "Get the clamps ready, this thing is really stuck in it." The famous scientist said to the other.
Melissa walked over to the side and grabbed the arm-sized clamps. The scientist placed the scalpel on the side table after cutting around the object and reached for the camps. The round object quickly plopped out of the brain with a few tugs.
"The Hell is it?" General Kurich's voice came from above the circle-shaped room.
"I have no idea."
The doors of the room opened up. Solaron's form greeted the two scientists as he walked over to the object. "It's not Klenthurian." He said, placing the claw of one of his fingers on its edge.
"Do you know what it is though?" The General asked from above.
"Definitely some sort of controlling device. Can also tell, from the marks, that it's been used many times before. If you want to know who it belongs to... There's only one who can tell you."
"Yeah, and who's that?"
"I'll give you a clue. He's ill tempered and lives in the Arctic."

Attack of The Rage
Chapter 8: The Rage Cometh
London, England October 29, 2017
The concentration on the strange orb found in the mutant eel was put on pause. Something far more sinister was now at work in the famous city of London. Less than three days ago the Flores Comet came and went, leaving behind a trail of red gore that fell to the streets. Quickly the scientific community investigated and confirmed the fear that it was, indeed, the Rage virus. The city was evacuated and the forces called in, everyone ready to deal with the possible threat of an oncoming kaiju attack. The booming sound of the Hammer Kaiser's engines echoed between the valley of buildings as it drifted into the area and hovered above the cityscape before slowly coming down.
"Welcome to London." Commander Richardson said to himself as the massive transport landed. He quickly picked up his cap from the dash of the jeep and placed it on his bald head and reached for a cigar.
Just as the machine landed, a ramp lowered from its belly. Suchodon and Plague stepped free from the darkness and greeted the small camp of British men outside with hefty roars. Following the pair of Bio-Weapons was General Kurich, Dr. Himes, and a small batch of other personal. Fortunately for the group, Milenko and Demortis had been left behind... on purpose. The jeep moved in closer, picking up the General and scientist, leaving the others to be grabbed up by yet another camouflage-colored transport.
"You have to forgive us, General." The Commander said, "Most of us aren't used to the news of a possible attack all the way up here."
"We know." Dr. Himes said, "Of all countries on Earth, Britain has faced among the fewest problems with kaiju, but we do need to know on what actions have been taken now."
"We know the virus only effects plants, so we've been gathering samples from around the city and whatever areas show the most infection are being burned."
"What about under the city?"
"Under...?"
"Of course. It came down in a storm, didn't it?" The Commander nodded, "Then the water would have seeped into the soil. There's plenty of fungus and growth beneath every city."
"Then the only way to truly prevent it is to destroy the entire city, something we're not keen on around here." The Commander said, looking over at the two and quickly giving them a glance that reminded them of the destruction of Dallas.
The General cut into the conversation. "The city has been evacuated, correct?"
"Finished up this morning. Already have slews of protests outside the perimeters."
"Good." The scientist answered, "Then if you'd just drop us off at the labs, I'll get started in trying to create a form of anti-virus."
"And until then, you boys can get the two Gun Snipers and Gojulas out of the Kaiser." Kurich said, "We decided to bring them in now. Kill two birds with one stone."
"We might need them."
"You probably will."
The day turned to night and no answers to the virus could be discovered in such a short time period. As Plague and Suchodon played in the empty outskirts and the weapons were activated, something was stirring beneath the streets. Like a collective hive of insects, the roots of countless plants, big and small, came together to form something new. On the surface, Suchodon quickly lifted its head and directed it at the city, sensing something was quickly going wrong. "What’s the matter with him?" A British soldier asked, nodding to the bipedal monster. "Maybe he's bloody horny, how should I know?" Another answered, walking back into the tent. Plague now looked at the city too. A hiss escaped its snout as he fell on all fours and beat the ground with his long, pink tail.
General Kurich emerged from the tent, followed by the two British soldiers. "Something's wrong." He said, walking back into the tent and calling for Greg.
"What's going on?" The scientist asked, rubbing his eyes and pulling down his glasses from atop his head.
Nobody was given the time to answer. A loud boom came from within the vast city. Then another. Buildings began to fall as if dominos in the center of the metropolis. Suchodon growled softly as the final building fell into a heap of rubble. A whale-like moan came from the dust-filled city before massive roots exploded from the Earth. Like tentacles of an octopus, they wrapped around the remaining buildings and began tearing away. A spider web-design of plant life ripped through the streets and homes, increasing the strange monster's size.
"I am getting too old for this sh*t." The General responded, moving his head up as a towering behemoth rose in the center of the ruined city. "Greg, please tell me you got the anti-virus made." The scientist just shook his head no. "Any suggestions then?" The scientist repeated his answer.

Attack of The Rage
Chapter 9: The Rage Strikes
London, England October 29, 2017
Wisps of flame flickered on the cityscape as fires blossomed throughout the British capital. A thunderous cry came from the bizarre plant as its tendrils of destruction spread fourth, wrapping around buildings and pulling them to the ground. Suchodon howled in response to the attacking, virus-spawned beast before charging forward. The reptile's legs bent before they shot him into the air. Another wail came from the massive plant, swatting the crocodile from the air and sending it flying into the river. Plague's head turned to look at the churning water before once again facing the Rage. The huge plant uprooted itself from the ground as its empty eye sockets seemed to look at the huge rat.
An unearthly howl came from the monster as it smashed its bulk to the ground as if it challenged the Bio-Weapon. Plague hissed in response and stepped back, slapping its furry chest with the side of its fist before charging forward like his partner prior. The Rage sent out spiraling tendrils, but the rat had watched keenly on what had just happened to Suchodon. The first came down, but instead of letting it hit, Plague twisted his body, lashing out with his tail. The pink appendage quickly wrapped around the tentacle before the long weapon pulled back into the air.
Plague shouted as the Rage moaned again. Its tentacle whipped to the side, and now Plague moved. The whip sent Plague into the air, forcing the tall head of the brown root system to stare upward before coming down. The Rage moaned again, pulling up several tentacles as the rat fell. The head of the huge creature reared back. The tip of its snout splintered like wood being struck by an axe as it prepared to catch Plague as he fell downward.
As the tentacles also rose higher, a wave of maser fire washed over its form. The creature howled in fury and crawled back as flames began to lick its tendrils. The small group of masers pulled back as the ground in front of them erupted in a wave of black and brown dirt. Twin tendrils collapsed on two of the masers, reducing both to twisted heaps of metal. The others began firing afterward, causing the Rage to move back even more, and clearing Plague of its jaws. The rat landed on its left leg and stomped its right on a lengthy rope of vines. Another root burst from the ruined streets and stabbed outward. The weapon ripped into Plague's chest, barely missing an organ, before tearing free out of his back. The huge rat cried in pain as a spray of gore came from its whiskered snout.
The river's water began to bubble before Suchodon leaped from it like a frenzied shark. The huge reptile's form flew forward before its large jaws clamped shut on the root that now impaled his partner. A loud wail came from the space plant as it was severed from his form. The Rage's body twisted around itself as he shot more roots out at the pair of creatures. Plague fell backward, crying in pain, while Suchodon tried as he might to fight off the countless barrages of roots that continued to bounce off his scaly hide.
"Your boy isn't going to survive much of that!" The commander shouted at both the General and scientist, "We need to do something!"
"Fire." Dr. Himes said, staring into the battlefield, "It reacted when hit by the masers."
"Then we can use napalm!" The General shouted over the thunderous roars of all three titans.
"Napalm!? You want to burn the entire heart of the city!?"
"If we don't do something quick, there'll be no more city at all!" The General answered, "Now do you make the call, or will you force me too!?"
The Commander looked at the General before turning his gaze to the dust-filled city of London. He bit his lower lip as he tried to decide. "I'll do it, but you take full responsibility!" Both nodded in agreement as the Commander began to make the calls to arrange a bombing run.
The ground behind the group began to shake before the two Gun Snipers emerged from darkness. The two machines bellowed loudly as they slowly turned around, pointing their long tails at the towering form that was quickly growing in size. "Those Gun Snipers might be able to slow its growth! The more we can break off from its main body, the less damage will be done by the blasts!" The famed scientist tried to reassure the now nervous commander.
"What about Fire Bombs?" He asked back, holding the phone to ears, "The base already has several Griffon fighters loaded!"
"As long as they can burn the entire thing, then it'll do fine."
Richardson finished giving the orders and slid his own phone back into his pants pocket. "They're taking off now!" The two weren't able to hear the finished statement from the thunderous bellow of the approaching Gojulas. The massive machine stood between both snipers as it readied its guns.
"COVER YOUR EARS!" The General shouted, quickly doing that with his own hands.
The ground around the weapons ripped apart like a massive hammer had been dropped. Its twin cannons pushed its own frame back several meters, but the results of the strike were remarkable. The two hits ripped apart the side of the Rage. Perfectly round craters decorated its sides as a thick, gooey sap dripped out. It roared in fury, throwing its towering head in the direction of the attack, but no sooner than it did, Suchodon was again on the offensive. The brave lightweight leaped onto its body, ripping and tearing with tooth and claw and quickly sending splinters of infected plant matter to the streets below.
"Can they survive it!?" The commander asked, pointing to the wounded Plague.
"That's their job!"
The Rage's bulk rose upward, carrying its main form with stalk-like legs and moving as if a spider. Another blast from the Gojulas' cannons detonated on its hard back, sending a spray of splinters into the dust-filled sky and making it lean to the side before balancing back out. Suchodon fell to the Earth, standing on all fours as both Gun Snipers proceeded to unleash their loads on the plant. After several blasts sent the confused Rage stumbling back, the crocodile leaped into the air. Talons and teeth once again dug burrows into the plant matter, but the monster simply leaned itself back. Root-like tendrils quickly snaked up around the reptile and entangled his legs and yanking him free from the creature.
Plague, not far away, spat a glob of blood and saliva out of its maw and slowly crawled away from the entangled mess that slithered behind it. As the rat tried to escape the endless jungle of wiggling vines, the ground burst open around it. Another howl of terror escaped Plague's maws as its form was lifted from the Earth. Dozens of pointed tendrils ripped into the back of Plague's back, and soon ripped free from his chest and stomach. As the main body contended with Suchodon, this separate mass of matter tossed the Bio-Weapon away, sending it plunging into the depths of the river. The water began to bubble as if being boiled before turning deep red.
"The bombers'll be here in a few."
The pair didn't answer the Commander and simply watched on as Suchodon struggled against the countless tendrils that continuously assaulted its green hide. More vines wrapped around the reptile's thighs and stomach, ripping it free from its towering form and throwing to the side as if a mere rag doll. The beast rolled to a skidding stop, quickly kicking up a storm as he leaped back to his taloned feet. The man-made monster lowered close to the ground as more tendrils were sent spiraling over its back and skull. As the weapons pulled back up, the creature's arms shot up, catching several of the ropes in its grasp. Its maw opened as wide as it could stretch before clamping shut on the vines, quickly cutting them in half.
The roaring sounds of the Griffon Fighters echoed behind the group of soldiers. "Look!" A soldier shouted behind the three, pointing into the air as the blue and silver weapons danced in the air. The Rage paid no heed to the approaching fighters and continued to throw more of its roots at the bipedal saurian. As several vines shot past Suchodon's form and pulled around his body, the first jet flew over its frame and dropped its load. Great balls of fire burst from Rage's back and quickly allowed the crocodile to free himself and fall back as more flames leaped from the Rage's body.
Its head looked into the air, only for another barrage of flames to fall on its body. Brilliant plumes of orange and red rose even higher than the Rage as the flames spread out from its body and into the ruined streets and buildings. The three fighters moved forward, continuing the bombing run as Suchodon nimbly leaped from side to side as he rushed to the river. The Rage's constant screams of defiance continued on despite its entire frame now a raging inferno. The mighty reptile leaped head-first into the still-red water and vanished as a wall of fire, bigger than that of Big Ben, rose into the gray sky. The entire event only lasted but a mere second, and as the fires quickly lowered and grew smaller, the burnt husk of the Rage quickly fell apart.
As the black smoke hugged the ground, the water of the river lifted and then fell. Suchodon, grasping Plague's tail softly in his maw, walked out, dragging the massive, bleeding rat with him. The reptile dropped the creature at the water's edge and then turned around, watching on as what remained of the once mighty Rage crinkled into nothingness.
As night came upon the city, and as the final wisps of fire and smoke vanished, power was restored to some parts of the city. The infected area quickly closed off as the two Gun Snipers marched back and fourth on the river's edge, waiting for a return of the Rage. Suchodon rested inside the belly of the Hammer Kaiser, watching on as people treated the numerous wounds his friend had received.
While the General and Commander spoke, the famous scientist chewed on his thumb nail. Once the two finished, Dr. Himes quickly caught up with Miles. "I'm gonna' be staying here." He broke the news to his old friend.
"Was just talking to Richardson about that." The General responded, quickly surprising the scientist. "Work on that antivirus. Spread it around. And don't forget to let us know if anything develops."
"Yeah, no problems."
The General began walking toward the jeep. "Do you want me to send Melissa down here also? Help with the work?" He stopped, turning again to face.
Greg shrugged, "If she wants. Probably could use a vacation."
The General turned around, lifting up his hand and waving goodbye to his friend again. The scientist turned back, walking back to the camp, only looking back when the Hammer Kaiser began to lift off of the ground.

Chapter 10: Going on Vacation
Tokyo, Japan November 3, 2017
Alan walked down the halls of the hanger, greeting the people he saw before coming to a stop in front of one of the many doors and knocking. The door easily slid open to the side, blasting the human with a wave of heat, forcing him to step back. "You two ready soon or what? We're going to miss our flight."
Milenko emerged from one of the other rooms as he pulled a black comb through his unnatural blue-colored hair. The demon slung a black pack over his shoulder and walked out the door, "Now you're just waiting on Demortis."
Demortis was in the other room, packing a suitcase full of books and other Medieval trinkets. "I'll be ready in a minute!" The bald man shouted to the two, "Just got to find my book."
"I have it!" The clown yelled back, "Now come on!"
Demortis lifted his head from the shelf. "... You realize I've been looking for that book all day, don't you?"
"Uh-huh."
Tex lifted up his own bag with his arm, "I'm heading out. Feel free to catch up." The Texas-born soldier started to walk away, forcing Milenko catch up. "Hold on!" Demortis yelled from the room and followed out, quickly locking the door behind and then rushing to keep up with Alan and Milenko.
"So what are ya' gonna' do when you get there?" The clown asked, throwing his bag in the trunk of the car.
"Get away from both of you." Solaron's voice came from behind all three.
"You're coming too?" Alan quickly asked, pushing his bag into the car's rear.
The red Klenthurian hissed before answering. "General's giving everyone the weekend off it seems."
Five minutes later, the four were huddled together in the car. The driver sat next to Alan, while Milenko was squeezed in the back between Solaron and Demortis. "I am very uncomfortable." The clown said, trying to give himself some wiggle room.
"Shut up." Both his co-demon and Klenthurian said in unison.
Halfway through the drive, Milenko slowly began looking around. His eyes followed the cars and people like a small puppy's. "Are we there yet?" He suddenly asked, trying to scoot himself away from Solaron, but quickly being pushed back into place by Demortis. His question also went unanswered, "Are we there yet?" He repeated with the same results. The demon snorted in aggravation and sat back.
"Ya' know, I hear they're working on a cure for cancer down here." The Texan said, breaking the awkward silence, "Anybody else gonna' be going to the labs?" Solaron hissed his answer, and, as expected, Milenko started bouncing in his seat in anticipation. After ten more minutes, the group was exiting the vehicle and walking into the airport. A group of security quickly looked at one another once Solaron walked into the building.
"I guess they're them." The one guard responded, "Keep an eye out."
The once loud airport grew deathly silent once all eyes fixated on the eight-foot tall, red-colored Klenthurian. "Oh, this is gonna' be fuuuuun." The clown demon laughed, walking forward and heading to the front desk.
"We already got our tickets, dumbass." Demortis corrected and pulled the other back by the shirt.
Solaron looked from side to side, amazed at the countless gazes he was gaining. The creature very slowly opened the palm of his hand and made a ball of flames appear above his red scales. The people burst into action, quickly pulling out cameras as they stampede forward, hoping to have the famous pilot of the Hessian answer questions and give autographs. The true nature of the alien quickly came out as he tried to keep up with the many hand shakes and autographs people were throwing in his direction.
Moving toward the gates, Milenko looked back at the moving crowd that was orbiting the Fire Lizard. "How come we don't get greeted like that?"
"Because if people found out we're demons who tried to make the world into our own Hell, we'd be torn apart." The bald demon said, flashing his tickets in front of the lady and boarding the passenger plane.
After a few more minutes of stardom, Solaron was forced to leave his fans and also board the craft where, as before, the people quickly looked in awe as he took his seat in First Class. His tail quickly became a problem as he tried to position it in an uncomfortable way. After a few more minutes and just a tad bit more complaining from Milenko, the plane was starting to take off into the air. Tex took a seat next to Solaron and quickly pulled out a deck of cards. Behind them, Milenko gulped down a can of Mr. Pibb while Demortis sat silently and read one of his many books.
As the red Klenthurian laid down a king of hearts, one of the stewardesses came up. The reptile lifted his head and licked the air with his forked tongue as the blond tried not to stutter. "Water will do fine." He said before thanking her. Tex just shook his head no and pulled out a small, pocket-sized bottle of liquor and took a quick drink as she walked back to the cabin for the water. "I'll bet you the game that she asks me for my autograph." He said, placing down another card.
"Funny, I think she was more interested in me, but you're on."
Solaron hissed again as Tex laid down his own card. By the time they laid their next, the woman returned with the water. Solaron nodded his thanks before she slowly began to walk back to her other duties. "Damn." The alien said, drinking the icy water entirely in one gulp.
"You lose."
Sydney Australia November 3, 2017
The plane came to stop at the Sydney airport and, like the one in Tokyo, Solaron again found himself surrounded by humans as he tried to move. Demortis lifted up his luggage bag and headed for the front gate with Alan and Milenko following behind. The clown demon was, surprisingly, not as annoying as he usually was, allowing the Texan to actually engage in conversation with him. Once finally out of the airport, two taxis awaited to take them to their hotel.
The four entered through the glass doors, and, at once, Milenko dropped his bag. "Ooooh. Spiffy." He said, looking up to see a very large glass chandelier hanging from the ceiling.
"Try not to drool." His co-demon responded as he walked toward the desk to sign in.
"I don't know about you three, but I'm going to see the Opera House tonight." Tex said, walking forward to get a room key.
"Eew. I hate Opera." The clown said, picking up his bag.
"It's no longer for Opera..."
"Then why is it called the OPERA House?" The clown responded, trying to sound witty.
"Because it once was." Solaron educated, "And I'm game."

Chapter 11: Invisible Enemy
Tokyo, Japan November 3, 2017
General Kurich leaned back in his chair and rewound the tape. His large hand came up to scratch his aged chin before a knock came from the door. Gendo entered the room and took a quick seat in one of the other chairs and quickly glared at the General. After several seconds of awkward silence, the founder of Nerv finally spoke up. "Why exactly did you send... all... of our main staff on vacation?"
The General poured himself a shot and quickly drank it. "Because they're going to need rest before another war breaks out."
"What the Hell are you talking about? Even Solaron says Saberon isn't going to try something again this soon."
Miles lifted up the remote and started the footage. "I got this yesterday afternoon. Greg had recovered it from a guy in London."
The TV screen first showed the image of nothing more than a bunch of feet and pavement before swinging upward, The Flores Comet was in the distant night sky, passing ever-so easily over the city scape. The camera zoomed in to the point the building tops were gone and the image of the actual comet was enlarged. Something else then entered from the bottom left hand corner. A small object, not even a third the size of the comet itself. The colorless object struck the side of the comet, quickly causing everyone on the ground to gasp almost in unison. The second object vanished and the comet continued its passing.
Gendo remained silent as the footage came to a stop. "How many know?" He finally asked.
"You, me, Greg, Melissa, and a handful of Brits." The General said, and after Gendo failed to respond, he added "The British Government agrees with the rest. It has to be Klenthurian attack. The United States, China, and NATO is already aiming their guns at that Klenthurian base in the Arctic."
"Do they know what Solaron said?"
"Doesn't matter to them. The only way to be sure."
"If their plan fails... His wrath will be..... bad." Gendo said, standing up, "I'll make some calls."
"Better make 'em good." Miles replied as Gendo walked through the door and closed the door behind him. The man poured himself another shot before sitting back.
Sydney Australia November 3, 2017
Solaron stood out in the crowds inside the Opera House like a sore thumb, but then again, he did everywhere. The fire-red Klenthurian was used to sticking out, let alone the stares and awes it brought him. Being the last of his kind, the Fire Lizard sort of enjoyed the attention, and the fact he was helping the weaker instead of destroying them was enough to bring joy to the alien.
Milenko stopped dead in his tracks, nearly making Demortis fall flat behind him after running into him. The demon clown stared ahead, and Demortis quickly saw what. Not far away, a lady stood. Dressed in black, the girl was dressed in a red miniskirt with a tight fitting black leather jacket. The woman turned around, making eye contact with the two demons and grinning. Alan approached from behind the pair and quickly saw what the two were staring at.
"Calm down, boys." He said, but his words fell on deaf ears.
The girl continued the stare down with her rather eerie smile. She brushed her black hair away from the sides of her face before moving her lips. "Found you." He lipped to the three. Milenko and Demortis acted as if they could hear her words and stumbled back. Her grin grew wider before she turned around.
"That's not possible." Demortis spoke to himself, continuing to look at the girl that now had her back to them.
"Come on, let's go introduce ourselves." The Texan said and smiled, pushing his way through the group and quickly closing the distance. "Excuse me miss..." He said, grabbing the girl's attention again. She turned around in the crowded area, but gone was the face of the beauty before, and now the chubby face of a middle-aged woman. Tex stepped back and cocked his head.
"What in the Hell do you want?" The woman said in a deep, heavy voice. "Get lost!"
Milenko and Demortis stood still behind Tex just a few feet back. "What?"
Tex walked backward to the two demons, still confused at what had transpired as the fat woman turned around just like the other. His eyes moved across her form, quickly seeing that it was indeed fatter than the other's.

Chapter 12: Attack on the Labs
Sydney Australia November 3, 2017
Beneath the streets of the Australian capitol, a handful of the most brilliant minds on Earth had gathered. Their research, public known, was, for the most part, left alone so they could help cure the many diseases that, in a few hundred years, could threaten man's existence at the rate humans are dying in this now apocalyptic world. As the group worked on different chemicals and viewed different viruses and bacteria under microscopes, something looked on through the walls. Its body was compressed between the new, white bricks and the old, decayed gray ones that once adorned the subterranean realms of Sydney. Its grotesque head cracked to the side in an awkward manor as the round skull planted itself against the side to listen to what was being said by the mammals on the other side.
A soft voice it could hear. No doubt a male's voice, but a caring one none the less. The research the insect-like creature had done had already determined that what these pests were making was, indeed, a weapon that could be used against them one day. In reality, the labs were doing no such thing. Different lab animals, including mice and rabbits, all huddled together in the corners of their various cages. Some of the people inside looked on, simply thinking they knew what they were there for.
The insect's head pulled away from the wall and its mandibles clicked in rapid succession. A metallic band around its black head came to life with flashing greens and blues as a different sounding series of clicks came from it. The insect responded back with its own sounds before all went silent between the pair of creatures that were communicating.
Like a frenzied cockroach, the insect-like being began to scratch away at the brick. The grinding noise quickly gained the human's attentions as flakes of dust began to fall from between the white brick. "It has to be the subway." One of the men said as more dust began to fall. "No subway runs through here." A female answered him.
The bricks suddenly exploded outward in a blast of dust and pebbles of brick. The creature emerged through the dust and its yellow, bulbous eyes looked around. The creature stood somewhat like a hybrid of a praying mantis and a cockroach. Balancing itself on two, branch-like legs, its body suddenly raised up at a near ninety-degree angle with a pair of serrated hook-like arms. Its black and brown exoskeleton was decorated with patterns of orange and red while thick strands of fluid escaped its mandible-surrounded mouth. A beetle-like shell flexed on its back section as it stepped forward, looking at the faces of the humans that stepped away slowly.
"What is tha.." The first man that spoke up suddenly fell to the ground with the insect's arm slashing across his chest. Clearly the creature moved at lightning speed, causing a single scream to come from the batch and chaos broke free. Another scientist fell to the ground as another was chucked across the room and crashed into a glass tank. The thick fluid followed it to the floor as if a water fall while yet another scientist was thrown straight up, her head splattering across the tiles like a broken water balloon. As blood quickly spread across the floor, the creature waved its claw across a table, quickly destroying the various containers and fluids that sat there.
The man thrown into the tank, Dr. Jantwan, crawled forward as his body burned from the different chemicals. "No..." He said, lifting his arm and trying to reach forward in an attempt to stop the beast as it flipped over a large table with ease. Once finished, the creature stepped over the crawling man. The doors of the lab were kicked open as two men rushed into the room, only to find the carnage left behind from the gnarly attack.
Outside the Sydney Opera House, the sounds of sirens rang loud and clear. As the small group of U.E.D.F vacationers left outside, their eyes quickly followed the direction. A crowd was building a few blocks away as several vehicles parked and the humans busied themselves like ants. Alan, Milenko, and Demortis remained silent, and Solaron was still baffled as to why, especially during the convoy of emergency vehicles that were flooding passed them.
"Ok, seriously guys. The Hell is wrong with you three?" The Fire Lizard asked as he walked on the sidewalk, ignoring most of the looks he was getting.
"Wrong? N.. N.. Nothing's wrong! All fine and dandy! Jup!" The clown said, turning his head around and looking behind him as if expecting to be followed. "See, nothing wrong."
"Uh-huh."
The group moved in the direction that the vehicles were before Solaron's arm parted to the side, forcing the three to stop and look on. The Fire Lizard's forked tongue flicked from its snout as its eyes searched from side to side before finally coming to a stop on a man standing in the distance. The human was standing still, staring right back at the group unopposed. The man stood at a normal height with both hands in the pockets of an orange, high class coat. His eyes were blocked by a pair of all-black glasses that, despite their hue, made it apparent that the human was looking right back at the group. His lips formed a wide smile and his eye brows lifted from above his glasses and fell back down.
The man's head tilted almost like an animal's to the side and back again before a group of people crossed his path. Solaron's tongue flickered out again and licked the air, but the man was gone and another ambulance rushed down the street.
"Something's not right here." The Fire Lizard said as he moved his arms back down.
"Mind filling the rest of us common folk in then?" Alan responded sarcastically, "First we get transformo-gir-" Demortis stomped the man's foot, making him shut up.
Solaron's tail waved to the side as he marched forward as if he didn't hear what the Texan had said. "I want to know what happened down there."
Within fifteen minutes, the group was at the scene of the chaos. The street was closed off and dozens of news vans were parked outside. Several of the reporters stopped mid-sentence as Solaron and crew walked behind them. "Us being here could create a panic, you know." Alan said as he limped along.
"Excuse me!" A female reporter yelled out and grabbed their attention, "You! Hey!"
Solaron turned to face her. "Not now. These two will entertain." He said, pulling both Demortis and Milenko to the woman."Just call them Jack and Ass."
The Texan followed behind the Fire Lizard, finally able to try and tell what he had seen. "Save it." The Klenthurian said as group of guards tried to make him stop. The two men both lifted their hands, but the alien simply pushed them aside with little effort.
"You can't go in there." One of the men said, reaching for a gun.
"I don't advise that at all." The sniper said, walking past and lifting up the back of his shirt and exposing the handle of his own large weapon.
Solaron and Tex moved swiftly through the cops and people. "Woah there slicks, this is a crime scene. Nobody enters without...-" Solaron brushed the guy to the side before entering the demolished lab. "Three missing." He heard one of the cops say. The eyes in the room lifted up to see Solaron standing at the doorway with another squeezing between him and the wall before standing in front of the reptile.
