Nellaf and Diespinne vs Gnatra and Diarregex

Hmm, Gnatra is a big gnat and Dispinne is an even bigger spider. Both are pretty much the same as the creature's their based off in terms of combat style, weapons, and cognitive ability, with some extra weapons thrown in. With that in mind, a fight between a gnat and a spider generally ends in the spider winning - and Diespinne is fast enough to ensnare Gnatra with a web and eat him.
So that leaves Diespinne and Nellaf vs. Diarregex, which is... well, troublesome, since I don't really see how either of them can hurt each other. I don't see the poop balls and poop attacks harming either Nellaf or Diespinne, and their various melee attacks wouldn't do anything but splatter Diarregex and force him to reassemble. Unless Diespinne's ionized silk, which can electrically burn things at it most effective, is able to burn enough of Diaregex to kill him, I see this ending in a draw.

Diespinne is definitely gunna take out Gnatra first for a snack. After that, I think Diarregex'll be taken down.

Ordinarily, I think Gnatra's a bit tougher than she's made out to be, but simple fact is, Diespinne is a spider. And he's been known to set up webs while hunting(one of the key moments in his initial appearance). If he sees Gnatra, there's a very good chance he'll try to set up a trap for her.
Nellaf is another factor. She can actually fly, so she could at least attempt to go after Gnatra.
Diarragex IS a pretty strong motha', so I could see him doing some damage in melee. Depending on how present a nuisance Gnatra is, Diespinne may simply ignore her in favor of big D, or he may break away from the nasty-smelling Diarragex and pursue Gnatra as prey.
Nictodawn is another factor. He's liable to see Gnatra as prey, and might wind up aiding Nellaf and Diespinne.
Now, between Nellaf's giant fists and Diespinne's leg-whuppings, Diarragex is going to get splattered a lot. But he's going to do damage of his own.
However, as Ty pointed out, if worst comes to worst, Diespinne can rely on his webbing. He's liable to pull out the basic adhesive first, but when that fails him, he'll resort to the ionic stuff. And yes, if he has enough time to prepare it, it should be able to dry out a signifigant portion of big D. Maybe not enough to kill him, but being such a rural town, he doesn't have many sewers to feed on, so when he loses mass in this battle, it's gone.
If Diespinne manages to pull out this strategy and sees it's working..... well.... who all's seen Ghost Rider?

Gnatra and Diarregex are basically screwed in this fight unfortunately.
Dispinne can take out Gnatra and, even though he's quick and a very real danger to Nellaf I don't think the little guy will last long.
That leaves Diarregex against the two of them and what Diespinne doesn't burn with the ionized silk Nellaf can take care of. I didn't remember it until re-reading Nellaf's entry but she can control plant life, including making it grow like crazy. Diarregex is basically a giant walking pile of fertilizer to Nellaf.
So...yeah. I'm thinking Diespinne and Nellaf walk away from this one.

Well I should probably try my first post here, this is the first time I have ever done this so please bear with me.
Now from what I can tell from Gnatra's bio, he is a very quick little devil. Much quicker then Nellaf or Diespinne. That’s a pretty big advantage. Hit and run tactics are known to be very effective against stronger opponents. But if Diespinne sets up a web in a clever enough place, Gnatra's might find himself stuck and with out a prayer. And having a more bug like intelligent really plays against him in this fight. Diespinne seems to be the perfect match for him.
As for Diarragex, well let me take a moment and congratulate Monster Master on such a batshit insane yet completely awesome monster. I now have the high honor of being able to claim I fought I giant pile of poo. Nellaf is a bit more nimble then him, so it is unlikely that he is going to be hitting her very much. And since she has no poo, he probably isn’t really going to care about her at all. I think as long as Diespinne keeps his wits about him then Diarragex is not really going to be doing much damage to him. But Diarragex is also really hard to hurt. Being made out of Poo has that advantage. As stated before, Diespinne ion webs have might be able to dry him out, besides that I don’t think Diespinne can really do much permanent damage.
And as Phelan pointed out “I didn't remember it until re-reading Nellaf's entry but she can control plant life, including making it grow like crazy. Diarregex is basically a giant walking pile of fertilizer to Nellaf.” Now I NEVER thought of using Nellaf’s plant affinity like that, but dang if that doesn’t sound like one heck of a good idea! I don’t see why that wouldn’t work!
So, although I feel bad for saying my Kaiju would win, I do think Diespinne and Nellaf would win this round. Sorry Diarragex and Gnatra.

Well, I would explain what I think, but all you guys basicly did that for me.
Diespinne and Nellaf have my vote.

The mixture of tiny bug jokes and Ghost Rider references lends my vote to Nellaf and Diespinne.

Diespinne and Nellaf, Gnatra gets taken out right away, and Diarregex can't do much.

I stand by my earlier call of Die Spinne and Nellaf. DS is a spider, Gnatra is a gnat. Both pretty much have the mindset of their base creature (albeit somewhat improved for DS), and are evenly matched in terms of enhanced powers from their base creature. Who wins when a spider fights a gnat? The friggen spider! Hell, it's INSTINCT for the spider to kill the gnat with great precision. Die Spinne would be lucky to ever face an opponent as well suited to be his prey as Gnatra again.
That leaves DS and Nellaf against Diarregex, and since the ion thread can hurt the big load of shit, they have more than enough power to end him. DS and Nellaf hands down.

No point in debating this any further. Seems pretty unanimous to me, Die Spinne and Nellaf FTW.
