So some of you may have noticed that your kaiju bios have had a bunch of numbers added to 'em. Those of you who were in last year's FFKT may remember them, but for the n00bs, here's a basic rundown.
Basically, these are numbers exist to make comparative analysis between the monsters a bit easier for the participants. At a quick glance, we can see how the contestants stack up to eachother. Each kaiju's bio is exhaustively reviewed by the staff and given a 1-10 rating based on the following criteria:
Some of you may be thinking "wait a second, how dare you assign numbers to MY monster! I created it, you don't know it better than ME!" However, the only way for this system to work objectively is for it to be done by a committee. The applicant can't be trusted to fill out the ability meters because there is nothing from stopping bias or embellishment from creeping in to make the kaiju seem invincible. First and foremost, this system exists for balance.
Don't take this the wrong way, though. We try to aim for a balance of accuracy and fairness, and if for some reason you find a stat to be unreasonable, let the staff know about it and we'll explain to you our rationale for assigning the number, and take your objections into consideration. However, once the tournament begins, there will be no further changing of stats, except possibly to nerf cheap stuff that might have somehow slipped in under the radar.

Melee Ability: The limit of a monster's power and their overall capability in close range combat.
Ranged Ability: The limit of a monster's power and their overall capability in long range combat.
Toughness: A monster's tolerance for pain and ability to continue to fight while injured.
Invulnerability: A monster's ability to resist injury.
Healing Ability: A monster's ability to recover from injury.
Physical Strength: Refers to a monster's raw physical power; this is distinct from melee capability since a monster can be stronger than it is skilled.
Stamina: A monster's staying power; its ability to continue fighting before it begins to exhaust itself.
Instinct: Refers to preprogrammed behavior in a monster- basic, unconcious, flight or fight, stimulus-response stuff.
Logic: Refers to a monster's ability to plan its attacks, analyse its opponent and work together with an ally. A score above a 6 in this category indicates a sentient being.
Creativity: A monster's ability to adapt to changing combat conditions and think on their feet.
Speed: What it says on the tin- note that this refers to a monster's running speed, not to their flight speed, which is a seperate stat.
Reflexes: How quickly a monster is able to react to external stimuli.
Acrobatics: A monster's ability to leap and dodge and evade opponents and such.
